Follow procedures to limit shrink such as, but not limited to: checking for bottom of basket, scanning all items to ensure proper balance on hand, avoid manual hand rings, and close the loop procedures.
Able to complete transactions in the time allotted to ensure productivity beach marks are met.
Report pricing discrepancies as directed by company policy.
Stay current with present, future, seasonal and special ads.
Offer and/or mention to customers all company directives such as Kroger Personal Finance, fundraising requests, customer service surveys, fuel points.

Digital Fact Checker
The Atlantic checkers verify every fact to be published in an assigned article from specific details and quotes to larger generalities to ensure that all the details, upon which an article is constructed, are supportable.
Primary responsibility will be checking our in-depth, long-form digital stories but may also include occasional print checking.
Working directly with Atlantic writers and editors to make sure all articles (and accompanying videos and podcasts) are accurate prior to publication. This includes working hand in hand with the authors of our pieces -- reading what they read, talking to their sources, reviewing all of the necessary literature on a given topic, and negotiating all changes/rewrites that need to be made so a piece is ready for publication.
Will work with the head of the checking department and directly with the lawyers on their particular pieces to solve any legal concerns and alert the editors to any substantive worries as the checking process proceeds.
Work with the head of checking to oversee any web checking issues and training.
Checkers also work with the art department on images, maps, charts within the features that they are checking.

Double checks all labels for accuracy
Quality checks outbound pallets and full loads for accuracy prior to shipment

Counts truck inventory and keeps accurate records of finished goods transported out of the facility for sales delivery or distribution to another warehouse. Receives finished goods into inventory and maintains appropriate records. Unloads transport trucks delivering finished products to the warehouse and stores it in its designated warehouse space. Loads empty pallets and plastic storage flats/shells for the transport truck to return to the manufacturing location. Loads pre-made multi-product pallets on local delivery trucks. Position is responsible for primary shipping/receiving, inventory and housekeeping duties. Must be able to pass Forklift Driving Skills test (if applicable).
Position requires climbing onto trailers and route trucks, reaching and pushing cases weighing 20-45 pounds. Position often operates independently with minimal supervision.
