Operate Coremaker to insure the correct manufacturing process is followed.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Inspect completed cores for visual defects
File cores as needed. Pack and Label completed cores
Perform routine operational maintenance on the machine
Report mechanical malfunctions and/or quality issues to maintenance and/or the supervisor
Responsible for routine cleaning of machinery
Transport finished product to storage area
Cross train from Redford to Shalco and Shalco to Redford machines
Work is repetitive.
Perform routine housekeeping to ensure area operates within parameters that conform to environmental and safety standards
Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and abide by safety rules
Must report any job related injury and/or illness immediately to your direct supervisor
Other duties as may be assigned.
High School diploma or GED
Six months to one year of experience preferred.
