Automatic Machine Operator primary function:
Feed and tend automatic press equipment, remove ends from end liner, inspect, stack in containers or sleeves and pack in cartons or on pallets, and tend in line press equipment as needed. Keep assigned area and equipment clean and orderly.
Job Duties include:
Check delivery tickets for correct materials and job. Remove ends from end liners, visually inspect and examine for obvious defects, putting rejects in container supplied for that purpose.
Count and place standard quality units in containers appropriate for the customer requirement. Remove ends in sufficient quantity to assure continuous operation of press equipment. Remove jams as they occur and report irregularities.
Restore the equipment, check for quality, and resume production as soon as possible. Report major jams, improper functioning machinery, or unsatisfactory quality or quantity of product as soon as possible. Maintain tally, load, and lot tickets of production on assigned lines as required.
Sort defective product as required. Relieve other personnel as required. Utilize check sheets and graphs to track causes for production problems, statistical process control requirements and spoilage concerns.

Summary of Job Description
Responsible for the tending of one or more automated production machines or equipment that performs one or more functions in the making of coated coils. Maintains and observes operation of machines and equipment to insure the production of high quality coils.
Inspects coils according to customer specifications. If specifications are not met, makes the necessary adjustments to insure the correct specifications. Duties include operating forklift for materials handling, warehousing, stripping coils, unpackaging material, samples as required, and staging materials. Other duties as assigned by the team or the management.
Working with high speed automated machines and equipment in a manufacturing plant producing coated coils for the food industry. The plant operates 24 hours a day, 5 days a week, 11 months a year with an overhaul of equipment at the end of the year.
Will have constant pressure to produce high quality coils and to keep the production line operating. Operation is based on a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, shift. The team member regularly works near moving mechanical parts.

Our successful team members are self-starters who can work independently without direct supervision. This position runs a heavy tonnage hydraulic press and robotic system that supports the brick manufacturing process. The presses are the first step in creating our molded brick products.
$21.00/HR + $1.50 shift/$1.60 weekend differential
Following a probationary period, our team members can test into advanced pay levels where the average pay for a Production position is: $24.36 + differentials = approx. $55,000/yr
2nd shift or 3rd shift positions are available; our schedules require some scheduled work during weekends.
Work safely in a heavy industrial facility when performing brick processing work. Heavy physical labor is required in this department and safety is our first priority.
Operate heavy tonnage hydraulic press including setting die/mold in place properly, follow press set up instructions carefully and accurately, ensure robotic systems are set up and in good working order, and perform scheduled preventative maintenance on the press or robotic systems as instructed.
Safely maintain a constant rate of production and alert other departments if there is a need for shut down, delay or maintenance on the press.
Follow charts, schedules, data sheets and instructions carefully and accurately for production orders, product specifications, maintenance, systems checks, quality guidelines and data entry into our electronic production management system.
Accurately record production completion times, piece counts, brick weights, and delay times for each shift.

The Filler Operator is responsible for ensuring optimum quality products through the operation of the filler of various product families following regulatory standards, ensuring the product is clean and sterile.
Clean, set-up, operate and monitor equipment of the production line.
Complete all required documentation and scheduled quality checks.
Monitor weights, seals, caps, and general packaging of product.
Make adjustments to filler timing and filling, & check mat as needed.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties.
Collect required samples needed for Quality Assurance testing.
Ensure that the proper packaging materials are used for each product being produced.
Will have working knowledge and experience with labeler operations; watching for jams and effectively threading wrap to prevent downtime due to error.
Perform filler and filler line changeovers in a safe and efficient manner.
Complete cleaning checklist once line has completed run.
Prepare equipment for next run to include size changes as needed.
Maintain communication with other departments, management and employees and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production.
Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible and accurate format, and completed with required information. Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP's.
Analyze process data and equipment performance data to improve quality, throughput, and troubleshoot.

Lays-out material perblueprint. Sets-up and operates a 230 Ton/400 Ton Hydraulic Press Brake forforming various sizes and gauges of steel into transformer tank components.
Sets-up forming dies and punches in the press brake.
Enters part number information into the computer terminal. After forming a part and doing a first piece check, the operator makes the necessary corrections to the part program to adjust for variations in material.
Positions each piece against stops and forms piece to the required angle and bends.
