The RoleIn this key role, the Mesh Pressing Engineer will be part of a diverse team and have the responsibility for driving carbide and yielding consistency of cubic boron nitride (CBN) and diamond (MBS) products, as well as process improvements throughout the entire product line. This includes process inputs and pressing operations. The Mesh Pressing Engineer will exhibit ownership over these areas of responsibility and work closely with engineers and value stream technicians upstream and downstream to ensure process consistency.Mesh Pressing Engineer responsibilities include:
Understanding all applicable process technology, equipment and control technology to improve tooling life and lower production costs of CBN
Facilitating root cause investigations to understand failure mechanisms for high pressure tooling loss and determine the relationship between failure modes and process deviations.
Examining poor yielding processes to improve overall yields and reduce manufacturing scrap. Using rapid problem solving techniques to create countermeasures.
Optimizing functioning of high-pressure, high-temperature hydraulic presses.
Attaining a full understanding of Hyperion’s EHS policies and procedures and ensure 100% compliance within work group; evaluate manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials for health, safety, and environment hazards.
Initiating changes to statements of work and operational procedures to ensure they are valid and up-to-date.
Participating on and leads teams in his/her area of responsibility.
Networking with other Engineers onsite and within the global business to leverage manufacturing knowledge of carbide operations.
Maintaining and monitoring process output data for review with stakeholders to evaluate and maintain process stability. Your Profile You possess a BS/MS degree in Materials Engineering , Metallurgy or Metallurgical Engineering.
You have 2-5 years hands-on experience in manufacturing or engineering materials industry and have demonstrative knowledge of lean principles. Six-Sigma experience is a plus. You must have fluency with programs and tools used for data collection, analysis, and statistical processes, such as Minitab.
You also possess excellent communication, organization, and multi-tasking skills. You have strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills and are able to problem solve through team work. Where others see many, we see you – personally.

We are seeking a Machine Operator - Press Brake Operator to join our team! You will help oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control.
Ability to use tape measurer, calipers, micrometers for precise measurements matching print specifications.
Fabrication of piece parts as per schematic under supervision of a Lead.
Ability to read blueprints and program machining equipment to produce required parts
Ability to use metal working manipulation machinery (brake, shear, saw, punch etc.).
Familiarize self with and/or request training concerning machining equipment.
Maintain equipment in good working order and notify the Lead of malfunctions.
Perform all duties in accordance with safety program standards.
Organize department and keep department clean.

Our Client Inc is looking for an experience press brake machine operator for our 2nd shift. The hours are 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. Mon-Thursday with 3 days off each week
Would need experience with press brake machines to bend and form metals to meet customer specification.
Primary Duties and
Follow and comply with all company policies and procedures.
Confers with Press brake Set-up person regarding how job is to be run and what dimensions to maintain.
Performs back gauge calibration and resets counters.
Runs first piece and takes to inspection or certified operator for approval.
After 1st piece approval adjust machines if necessary, seeking assistance from Set-up Person when needed, and runs job.
Using measuring equipment, checks specified dimensions on parts and plots them on SPC charts to track quality of product and process.
Fills out all required production paperwork and records.
Maintains work area in clean and safe condition.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent. Requires minimum of 6 months to 2 years press brake experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to read complex blueprints and perform complex mathematical calculations. Advanced knowledge of press brake and use basic quality inspection equipment including calipers, protractors, and micrometers. Ability to follow instructions, read, and write.
Constant exposure to one or more elements typically found in a manufacturing setting such as noise, dust, heat, fumes or dirt, which may not be desirable. Exposure to noise requires the use of hearing protection.
