Some pieces of equipment may be computer numerically controlled (CNC). This position reads blueprints or process sheets for specification such as dimensions and tolerances, tooling instructions, feed rates, cutting speeds, depth of cuts, and cutting tools. Selects proper equipment, including tooling, fixtures and accessories, to complete the task. Adjusts machine settings to provide the best quality part with the greatest efficiency.
Reads and understands measuring tools such as angle and degree square and tape measure. Utilizes measuring tools to verify product quality. Loads and unloads raw material and completed product, at times with overhead hoist.
Will operate CNC machines that have been previously programmed. Performs and documents level 1 TPMs. Works in a safe manner at all times, following all safety guidelines

Perform asphalt roller operator duties described below on an asphalt paving lay down crew.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Operates tandem or three wheel steel roller for compacting newly paved asphalt surfaces.
May oil, grease, service and make normal operating adjustments to the equipment.
Operates from platform of the machine and moves levers, pedals or throttle to move and guide the machine.
May guide and direct dump trucks while backing up to the hopper.
May perform other duties as required. Minimum Qualifications & Training:
One year experience but will train the right person
Encourage a valid NC Driver's License
Willingness to learn multiple tasks of the paving operation.
Ability to abide by precise instructions and strict but necessary safety rules and policies.
Must be a reliable/trustworthy team player and maintain a good attendance and safety record. Tasks Essential to Job Functions:

This is a temp to hire position located in Rock Hill, SC.
It's a 1st shift position which is 7am to 3pm.
The starting pay is going to be $14 with a 2 year progression and a top pay of $18.
POSITION SUMMARY:Apply rubber compound to build a variety of rubber rollers. Set up and operate roll wrapping and unwrapping machines to wrap/unwrap a variety of rollers. Load/unload and operate vulcanizers.
Locate and check identification of cores, rubber stock, and other materials. Check core for proper
Select and apply proper bonding adhesives. Paint cores according to standard practices.
Study prints, shop orders, specifications and instructions.
Operate building machines to apply rubber to core. Adjust pressure as needed. Insure dimensional requirements using measuring instruments. Check rubber compounds for defects and contamination.
Select and attach collars to rollers.
Operate wrapping machine by adjusting tape to appropriate tensions.
Load rollers into Vulcanizers. Determine proper cure cycles and program. Unload vulcanizers at end of cycle.
Perform simple set up and unwrap rolls. Rewind tape according to size and mark each completed spool. Remove collars and washers from rolls. Clean and coat with release agent.
Transport unwrapped rolls to finishing department. Return collars, washers, and wrapping tape to the wrapping area.
Report defective materials, such as old or damaged wrapping tape, damaged collars and washers, or defective rollers to your supervisor.
Requisition new collars or washers as required. Repair defective collars and assist in maintaining collar storage area in an organized manner.
Perform other related duties as required.
