Annually, develop and implement tactical sales plans consistent with achieving a sustainable sales growth year over year, by providing solid market intelligence, forecasting future customer buying activity and industry trends.
Technical and commercial support of our sales channel and partners for sale of capital equipment.
Demonstrate our In-Line solutions at prospective buyers and serve them until completion of sale.
Identify and interpret customer needs and answer questions to assist in the selection, application and operation to provide the best solution of color measurement and control for production machines with our customers.
Work closely with Sales Management on specific account penetration plans, and establish relationships at the appropriate levels to ensure that revenue goals are met or exceeded.
Travel as required to fulfill position requirements and achieve/exceed sales objectives. The expected travel requirement is 50% - 70% at a customer facility. This position can only be successful with frequent in plant visits to build and maintain customer relationships. Plant visits are also necessary to help customers select the best equipment for their needs as well as help them with the internal
Act as the Customer Advocate to expedite orders, when needed, to maintain positive customer relationships.
When needed, assist Finance in the collection of overdue receivables.
If applicable, manage assigned Independent Sales Representatives for assigned territory and give the proper support to ensure they meet or exceed their sales revenue targets.
Regularly report and communicate to sales management: sales forecasts, order activity, stages of negotiations, pricing levels and competitive information. Work with Vice Presidents and Directors of Sales, to forecast and reach acceptable territory market shares.
Update/maintain on a regular basis forecasting system in accordance with sales administration requirements.
Keep informed of significant market and industry trends, and competitive positioning in relation to these trends.
Responsible for the prompt follow-up on X-Rite generated sales leads through company adopted contact management software and lead conversion system (Salesforce.com).
Attend and support X-Rite national and regional industry trade shows. This may include participating in the trade show booth set-up and tear down.
Manage and maintain X-Rite demonstration instruments and ensure that they are properly calibrated and current.
Responsible for managing and submitting expense allowances in accordance with Company policy.

BS or MS degree in electrical, mechanical or color degrees with two to five years sales of capital equipement.

Ability to manage all aspects of the selling cycle for capital equipment from negotiation to close.
Highly developed written and verbal communications skills in English are essential.

Position Shift and Schedule

Machine Operator I- 2Nd Shift
This position is a Temp to Hire position. Our Temp Agency contact will be reaching out to candidates to discuss the position.
The Machine Operator position is responsible for operating and troubleshooting machinery in a specific area, which requires a basic understanding to operate properly. In addition, he or she is responsible for inspecting boards to ensure compliance with IPC standards.

Perform touchup of conformal coat or rework to bring product into compliance
Proper handling of chemicals as required per specific machinery in the area: (reference SDS book).
Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
Maintain work areas and equipment are in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.

Machine Operator Hardener Operator
Perform various duties to operate horizontal electric controlled atmosphere furnaces, vertical heat treating equipment for continuous hardening and tempering various sizes, following prescribed standard methods, practices and procedures. Work from coil identification tags, specifications, various charts, tables, established procedures, written or verbal instructions. Use micrometers, vernier calipers, overhead electric hoists, hand electric truck, various furnace speed and temperature controls and direct reading instruments, Set-ups require threading of leader through furnace, adjustments to speeds, tensions, air flow, oven temperatures, water temperature and pressure to achieve prescribed operating conditions. Calibrate induction heating unit periodically.
Check all coil ID tags for correct specifications and to assure completion of previous operations. Set feed rate and check speed with stop watch. Use overhead hoist to place coil on play out table. Join start of new coil to end of preceding coil by resistance butt welding for continuous operation. Check direct reading instruments for temperature and monitor nitrogen atmosphere make up. As necessary, make adjustments to air jets, induction coils, etc. Cut section from each coil and check teeth and gullet for visual defects. Use vernier caliper to check stretch against reference chart. Secure hardened coils with wire and place on tempering rack. Fill out all appropriate coil / temper tickets and travelers. Transport full racks to tempering area.
Detect and report defective or unsafe equipment and materials, as well as unusual situations.
Observe and obey all safety rules, practices and procedures.
Demanding, fast-paced position resulting from deadline pressures, simultaneous competing demands and changing priorities.
Knowledge of charts, specifications, and micrometers
