The Paint Sprayer Assistant assists the Paint Sprayer in the coating process from start to finish. They are responsible for reading non-complex blueprints, specification, work sheets, prepping and cleaning surfaces to be finished, as well as the cleaning and maintenance of spray application equipment including but not limited to booths, filters, protective clothing, etc.
· Experience and Education:
· Must be able to use basic mathematics
· Must be have the ability to use adjustable measuring instruments.
· Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is asked to be mentally and physically capable of continuous movement during their shift. Must be able to stand for an extensive period of time during the duration of a shift. Employee is ask to have 20/20 vision (with the aid of glasses or contact lenses) with very good hand dexterity. Must be able to lift between 10 and 50 lbs.
Employee must be able to read and interpret basic documents written in English. Employee must be able to have good communication with fellow employees, supervisors and management.
Must be able to pass a urine drug test and criminal background check.

Gel Coat Sprayer
General : This position applies gel coat to production hull and deck molds by using hand operated spray equipment.
Tools and Equipment : Various pistol grip type spray guns, hand tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers, utility knives, spray pump systems, protective equipment such as coverall Tyvek suits, head socks, rubber gloves, air supplied spray hoods or respirators, and safety glasses with sides shields.
Perform a pre-spray check of spray equipment and material to insure proper operation and appropriate color
Perform final cleaning of mold surfaces with a tack cloth
Help push mold into booth
Operate spray gun to apply various coats of gel coat to the molds. Specific amounts of gel coat must be applied and are measured with a mill gauge. Specifications as to percentage of coverage of metal flake are required and checked visually
Perform daily cleaning and minor maintenance routines on the spray guns
Keep work area clean, safe, and hazard free

This position performs any of a variety of functions unloved with the finish of wood products, including sealing, staining and painting with the goal of manufacturing a quality part according to work order specification while meeting quality and production standards.
Apply Conversion Varnishes, Lacquer or Sealers to wood substrate using air assisted airless or HVLP guns.
Able to troubleshoot and disassemble spray equipment to prepare them for finishing
Must be able to prepare substrate to receive finish material
Must be able to differentiate colors
Mix finish materials in order to obtain proper colors, shades and formulations.
Must wear appropriate PPE including safety glasses and respirators
Troubleshoot any finish that does not meet color or quality levels

Review job folder to verify part to be put through dry film lubrication process
Perform visual inspection on parts for defects prior being put through dry film lubrication process
Perform appropriate dry film lubrication process per work instructions and job folder
Record and sign off on all applicable data defined in the job folder
Report all dry film lubrication problems, inaccuracies in job folder, damaged parts and/or dry film lube materials to Shift Lead.
Follow in-process inspection procedures as needed to verify current operation meets customer and job folder requirements.
Observe all Environment, Health and Safety Policy requirements
Keeping work area neat and orderly at all times
Wearing safety glasses in identified areas
Wearing protective gloves when working with solvents/chemicals
Disposal of waste per safety standard

Herbicide Sprayer / Pesticide Applicator With DL
We are currently seeking a Herbicide Sprayer / Pesticide Applicator to join our team.
Applies chemical herbicide and/or pesticide to right-of-way following brush removal, utilizing hose and spray nozzle from truck-mounted spray equipment, which includes tank, pump, hose reel, 200 feet of 5/8 inch hose, and/or utilizing a backpack in remote areas.
Services truck and equipment, maintaining them in neat, clean, and specified mechanical order.
Mixes herbicide in holding tank and fills injection tubes or assists spray crew Foreperson with mixing herbicide and filling tank.
Drives truck to specified areas where trees require treatment. Unloads injector pack and tools from truck.
Pulls wheeled cart (dolly) carrying injection unit into areas of brush to treat trees.
Operates a small power drill, which weighs less than 10 pounds. Drills holes into base of trees, places a probe from the chemical injector tank into the hole, and switches on the injector to treat trees.
Works around hazardous equipment
Works in all temperatures and weather and will be exposed to nature, i.e., irritating plants and biting or stinging insects, dust, etc.
Works on unlevel ground
Due to the inherently dangerous nature of the industry and the requirements to work with or around hazardous equipment, employees must be able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time.

All work is performed in a factory environment With the individual spending 100% of their time standing, requiring the ability to stand for extremely long periods of time. There is medium lifting involved (up to 50 lbs maximum) with some reaching, bending,
and leaning done during the normal work day.
