The Indian Craft Shop located within the Department of the Interior. This charming shop represents the work of American Indian artists from across the country.

Job Summary and Essential Job Functions
This position is primarily responsible for performing a variety of tasks in skilled craft occupations to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of an establishment in repair. Noncredit Craft Beer Adjunct Instructor
The VCU Office of Continuing and Professional Education is recruiting a pool of applicants for adjunct positions providing specific expertise teaching for the noncredit Craft Beer Certificate program. Subjects to be covered are as follows:
"Process and Ingredients" to include: ingredients and characteristics, processes, fermentation, quality control, seasonal ingredients and flavors, judging and flavor, and sensory.
"Brewing and Quality" to include: water chemistry, malting, mashing, and sanitation.
"Engineering and Maintenance" to include: equipment, mechanics, and engineering models and concepts that are key to operating a working brewery including fluid flow, steam, energy balances, heat transfer and refrigeration.
"Safety and OSHA" to include: chemical handling, training, OSHA, and GMPCBs (Good Manufacturing Practices for Craft Brewers).
"Packaging and Operations" to include: bottling, processes and equipment, storage, containers, legal (FDA and ABC), labeling, distribution, taxation, and consumer behavior.
An expected start date for the Craft Beer Certificate program is Summer 2018.
The VCU OCPE will contact applicants in the pool whose credentials match the teaching needs. This pool will be accessed when an opening arises. Your credentials will remain active for one year from this position’s posting date.
After that time, if you are still interested in adjunct teaching, you must reapply to the pool. Note, we are unable to hire applicants who are not already in the pool.
