JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for leading, managing and inspiring the creative staff in his/her region by pushing innovative and engaging advertising.
Must have a solid understanding of how OOH should be used, and be able to communicate that to sales and creative. Must possess leadership qualities and have the ability to teach creatives in their region. The Creative Director will be tasked with assigning jobs (traffic), helping concept and art direct ads when needed.
In doing so they will build up the skill set of the creative department with AE relationships, design skills and overall confidence of the creative staff. Creative Director will be the regions creative authority/point person for moving creative forward. As part of the Creative Director’s job duties, they will be required to attend regional and national manager meetings (potentially speak at meetings), create presentations and work in conjunction with OUTFRONT Studios.
The Creative Director will also be responsible for developing relationships with market Managers and collaborating with them to meet their creative needs. You collaborate daily with your group creative director or ECD along with strategy, technology, production, media and account management departments to ensure that projects are running smoothly and the creative vision is realized. Education from a Creative Portfolio School, Art Direction or Copywriting
BA/BS in Advertising, Marketing, Arts, English, Creative Writing, Journalism or Writing for Mass Communication preferred.
A versatile portfolio that includes award-winning work in tv, print, digital, social, out of home and events preferred.
7+ years of advertising agency experience preferred.
Experience managing at least one creative team is a plus.
Recognized expertise in the industry's top award shows preferred.
Robust knowledge of advertising fundamentals, including brand development, strategy, storytelling, design, new/emerging platforms and technologies.
Successful experiences working with, and presenting to, clients.

About the Department
The Office of Marketing and Communications houses brand management, communications and creative teams that develop and execute marketing strategies across an array of media - including print, web, email, social media, mobile, advertising, public relations, and direct marketing channels - to reach the school's primary external audiences (prospective students, alumni, donors and prospective donors, corporate partners, and the media) and internal audiences (faculty, staff, students and the wider University community).

Strategic Creative Planning and Execution
In collaboration with the CMO, develop the creative strategy that aligns with the strategic objectives set by the Dean and leadership team.

We are seeking a talented creative director with work experience in digital content marketing, creative design, and brand management.
Manage the company's creative process from concept to completion as it relates to branding, content, design, public relations, and web/app development.
Contribute to the overall creative tactics, strategy, and vision for the company
Design digital and print marketing collateral such as product sheets, web pages, and pitch presentations
Maintains promotional materials and inventory
Create email and web marketing campaigns, including updating the promotional calendar, segmenting the client files, and targeting offers appropriately
Compile tracking, analysis, and reporting of the impact of promotional campaigns for digital marketing efforts
Prioritize projects and develop roadmaps for execution of content strategy recommendations
Conduct research on emerging markets, customers, and competitors to provide insight into customer profiles, competitive tactics, and to generate creative and innovative campaign ideas
Builds and manages the company's social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
Select & Liaison with external marketing vendors such as web developers and brand agencies to build and design brand elements from the ground up
Maintain a basic understanding of KPIs and conversion rate optimization tactics to effectively analyze sales and marketing data to provide actionable recommendations.
Work with leadership, industry experts, customers and event partners to help develop and distribute content that educates and entertains our audience and supports marketing goals.
Participate in new business development efforts, partnering with the discipline leads to create the winning strategy
Manage budget, scope, and resources across multiple projects and clients
Expert in contemporary digital engagement programs, from interactive design to brand campaigns
An intimate understanding of design, copy and web best practices/guidelines
Expert proficiency in graphic design; Photoshop, InDesign
Excellent communicator with strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Comprehension of SEO optimization
Proficiency in Marketing Automation software (Examples: constant contact, HubSpot, MailChimp)

This position sits in our Marketing team and reports to the Vice President of Marketing.
We're looking for someone who:
Loves to build and evolve brand identity, from design systems and creative campaigns down to the little details like internal posters and animations on the website
Collaborates with marketing leaders and executive partners to get drive key business initiatives through strong storytelling
Has a strong business instinct and understands analytics
Has a background in design, writing, multimedia, or brand strategy & experience working on a broad variety of products and customer touch points at significant scale
Can lead a team of internal and external brand designers, copywriters, and producers
Has experience with content series production in all formats, from video to GIFs to sales collateral and everything in between
Drives strategy to market in exciting and innovative ways. Execution for offline, experiential, and online creative assets, content initiatives, website, video/photography, event design, integrated campaigns, etc
Can build an in-house creative agency to serve the company's internal external programs, including office space branding, employee events, and other company collateral
Forecasts resourcing needs and timelines, and work with key partners to drive a schedule for projects while prioritizing and using resources efficiently
Can see around corners, be nimble and anticipate the needs of the marketing team in a fast paced environment
Ensures the team is delivering high-quality work that meets customer and business needs
Defines career paths, helps people to identify opportunities for growth, and defines team and individual plans for achieving measurable goals.
