ENERGY ANALYST, Crude Oil
The Energy Analyst, under the direction of the Manager of Energy Analysis, is responsible for supply and demand forecasts and their accuracy for the crude oil market. This includes a fully understanding of the drivers of each supply and demand sector, presenting analysis, expectations and key risks of the forecast.

Manage crude oil supply forecasts by basin and region through thorough analysis of decline curves, rig counts, & other relevant drivers of production.

Constantly research and analyze the impact of short, medium, & long-term factors that could impact crude oil supply or demand moving forward.
Prepare & present outlooks on domestic and international crude oil markets.
Participate in crude oil focused consulting projects.

Prepare relevant material for weekly and monthly publications.
Minimum undergraduate degree in petroleum engineering, economics, business or related discipline required. Master's degree a plus.
2-5 years of experience in energy markets preferred.

Required Qualifications – Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
Preferably 2 years of driving experience with safe record.
Class A commercial driver's license with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
Maintain qualification to drive as mandated by the Department of Transportation.
Thorough understanding of hazardous materials pick-up and delivery procedures.
Understanding of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations with an emphasis on the Hazardous Materials section of the regulations.
Must be able to work day shift, night shift, weekends, and holidays. The Crude Oil Transportation business is 24/7/365.
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time driving.
Must be able to bend, lift, carry, connect, disconnect, mount, and dismount heavy pieces of equipment (i.e. commercial grade fuel delivery hoses) and without creating a safety hazard.
Maintain authorization to load and unload product at facilities we conduct business with once authorized in the training process.

Drivers carry Crude Oil Products between customer leases, rail cars, barges, tanks, pipelines and more. All drivers will enter a period of training to demonstrate proficiency in driving, crude oil measurement and testing, operation of truck on-board computer system and ticketing process.
Perform basic driving functions to operate crude oil/product transport trucks, including steering, shifting, using signals, and reading various control devices.
Connect hoses between trailer and unloading/loading facility and monitor unloading/loading process to avoid spills and ensure that equipment is functioning properly.
Inspect trucks and trailers per DOT requirements (brakes, engine oil, water levels, lights, loading hoses, etc.).
Gauge tanks (including lowering/raising a thief, wood back and gauge line into the tank, obtaining various measurements, and transferring samples to sample tubes to complete the gauging process).
Operate on-board computer equipment to receive dispatch and record ticket data.
Observe company, federal, state and local policies, regulations and laws, and adhere to company safety policies at all times.
Must at all times maintain a CDL license, hazmat and tanker endorsements, medical card and TWIC card where applicable.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years tanker transport experience preferred.
Crude Oil driving experience preferred.
CDL License with Hazmat and tanker endorsements required.

Load and unloads tanker with crude oil, adhering to all company and governmental regulations.
Operates semi-truck with one or two trailers according to company policies and state/federal laws.
Transports load over required route to proper destination, observing all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Completes and transmits all paperwork in compliance with established procedures.
Maintains vehicle cleanliness and replaces gaskets, nozzles and other related articles as necessary.

Crude Oil Processing Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Crude Oil Processing Engineer to join the Upstream Process Engineering Division of the Process & Control Systems Department.
The Upstream Process Engineering Division is responsible for providing engineering expertise in the processing of natural gas and light hydrocarbons, production and stabilization of crude oil and flow assurance for pipelines.
The Crude Oil Process Engineer's primary role is to support crude oil processing facilities. Minimum Requirements As the successful candidate, you will hold a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized and approved program. A Master degree in Chemical Engineering and Professional Engineer Certification are preferred.
You will have a minimum of 9 plus year experience in upstream crude oil processing, electrostatic desalting, produced water treatment, gas compression and conditioning, crude oil stabilization, and storage facilities including at least four years of experience in design of production surface facilities is desirable. Duties & Responsibilities You will be required to perform the following:
Closely work with operating and support organizations to identify, evaluate and deploy new technologies for crude oil processing facilities.
Support crude oil production field practices and surface facilities for unconventional oil recovery.
Audit existing production facilities to identify opportunities to address corporate challenges.
Address facility de-bottlenecking requirements to handle increasing water cut projections.
Improve Plant Key Performance Indicators of surface production facilities.
Provide technical support to the capital program management cycle for crude oil processing facilities, including development of preliminary process scope and supporting process studies.
Support the capital program for surface crude oil processing facilities during Front End Loading stages, which include process studies, Design Basis Scoping Paper, Project Management during the project proposal and detailed design and execution stages.
Conduct process simulation of oil and gas processing facilities using Aspentech software (HYSYS, Aspen Plus), experience of different simulation platforms (reservoir, flarenet, OLGA, process equipment design, computational fluid dynamics, process control, data analytics, sour gas treatment and water treatment) is desirable.
Possess expertise in heat exchanger design software (HTRI or other), heat and energy integration software is required.
Possess exposure to loss prevention and risk assessment processes.
Provide process expertise, lead and support corporate investigation and due diligence teams.
Develop Process Engineering Standards, procedures, guidelines, and best practices.
Publish technical papers and deliver presentations to international audience of experts and generate patents.
