JOB SUMMARY Under supervision of shift foreman, or batch weigh mix operator, transports and dumps cullet. Operates cullet-crushing machine to crush glass for the recycling into batch mixes. Insures proper storage of cullet in bins, piles and silos. Is also responsible for the preventing improper mixing and contamination of cullet.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Checks and removes foreign materials and the heavy pieces of glass from cullet to prevent contamination of batch and damage to the crushing equipment.
Operates "B" and "C" control panels to operate crushing machine. Also operates drying system; cleans crushers, panels crusher pits, horizontal conveyor and distributor room.
Take silo readings to insure proper storage levels and cleans moisture meter.
Transfers cullet from various departments to the proper storage bins in the batch house vicinity. Also must visually inspect cullet to insure that the proper cullet is in the proper container.
Operates dumpster-truck to transfer cullet from various departments to the proper storage bins in the batch house vicinity.
Operates front-end loader to transport cullet from the collection bins in the furnace areas to the batch house; verifies contents of all cullet collected.
Observes all safety rules and regulations and performs job in a safe manner.
Performs other duties assigned.

The Crusher Upgrades Project Manager for the Minerals Services business area (BA) is a member of the Mining Crusher Products (MCP) management team. In this role, the position holder develops, manages, supports and coordinates all complex quotes and orders for Mining Crusher Products including, but not limited to upgrades, retrofits, and rebuilds. Provide complete, market competitive crusher upgrade packages to our customers and Market Areas
Understand customer requirements and ensure sales support documentation addresses these needs
Participate in on-site sales support when required by Market Area to assist in identifying and closing crusher upgrade opportunities
Develop sales tools and marketing materials to promote and proficiently sell crusher upgrades
Optimize crusher upgrade quote and order process to ensure efficient and timely communications and execution
Actively manage all crusher upgrade orders including scope determination, progress reports, financial reviews, and problem identification / reconciliation
Identify, assess and coordinate product development opportunities that may provide new crusher upgrades and improvements.
Monitor competitor activity in the market area with respect to pricing, new products, customer supply agreements, etc., and work jointly with Product Management and Market Areas to develop ways to counteract and mitigate the competitions' efforts
Provide technical feedback to Product Management based on customer contact
Work to ensure any related company intellectual property (patent, trademark and other related legal compliances) is complied with, controlled and protected

Team Elmer's seeks to fill an opening for a Crusher Operator/Laborer for the Alpena location in the Aggregate Division. This position will monitor and operate the gravel crusher, test aggregate and perform necessary maintenance for the production of sand and gravel products.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor crushing operations
Performs maintenance of gravel crushing and screening plant
Cleans up spilled material around conveyors using shovel and/or skid steer
Operates the plant to provide maximum production and efficiency
Move levers, depress foot pedals, and turn dials to operate skid steer
Conducts daily inspections, maintenance, fueling and operation of equipment
Operates equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Operator shall always maintain control of the equipment.
