What you'll get to do:
Visually observe and monitor gauges and of all equipment while in operation to maintain proper flow of material on belts, crushers and screens.
Close all bins and assure all conveyors are running properly.
Sounds start up alarm to notify all personnel to stay clear of machinery.
Start all plant conveying equipment using push button controls.
Stop equipment immediately when any blockages occur and obtain assistance when required.

Team Elmer's seeks to fill an opening for a skilled Crushing Foreman/Loader Operator in the Aggregate Division. This position will directly supervise and coordinate activities of employees assigned to the operation and perform supervisory and management needs as assigned. Additionally, will be required to travel out of town for a portion of the year. This is a working Foreman position and this individual will operate a CAT 980 or 988 loader feeding gravel for crushing and screening.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage the portable crushing plant and employees assigned to it.
Participate in the moving of the plant and assure a smooth transition of the plant from location to location.
Recognize and communicate to Aggregate Crushing Manager any priority projects or problems, such as employee or job costing issues.
Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed bring problems to the attention of the Manager, Safety Director or Human Resources.
Coordinate, direct and lead workers. Assign work to employees, using material and worker requirements data.

Ensures quality by continuously monitoring: Jacket quality, finished book quality, jacket application, packaging standards, and count verification.
Continuously controls product waste by assuring that, all usable product is utilized, shipping information is properly followed, and informing Casing-In Operator of deviations from specifications to minimize bad product.
Maintains proper records, including: Downtime and Production Sheets.
12 hr. rotating shift schedules 7AM-7PM; 7PM-7AM
Able to read, write, and comprehend written instructions.
Basic arithmetic functions.
Able to use measuring devices.
Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
