Prioritize, direct/coordinate the activities of all Print personnel with full standards/policies related to quality, quantity, cost and methods. Provide counseling, training and conflict resolution as necessary.

Alphalab Gear Hardware Cup Assistant: Part-Time (Temporary) Position

The AlphaLab Gear Hardware Cup is an international pitch competition for early-stage hardware startups based in Pittsburgh, PA. Regional Hardware Cup competitions are held throughout the US, and international partners hold competition in their countries, before coming together for the Hardware Cup Finals held in Pittsburgh in May 2019.

Responsibilities and Duties
Create additional marketing materials for application recruitment and event attendance
Support all outreach and recruitment efforts: create and send Mailchimp campaigns, individualized emails, etc.

Manage communications with companies selected to have demo tables (non-semi-finalists) and those not selected to pitch or demo

Order gifts for judges, speakers, location partners for regional and final events

When traveling to regional events: Regional event logistics including set-up, AV, food and drink, registration, photos, clean-up (if not: prep all possible aspects from Pittsburgh and coordinate with additional person who will travel)
Create materials for regional and final events (nametags, signage, program, day-of schedule, etc.)
Support planning and execution of Finals Event and Investor Day (hotels, transportation, stipends plus event-day logistics in conjunction with partners and sponsors)
Process travel stipends for all semi-finalists and finalists
Qualifications and Skills
Two to three years experience preferred
