Building Engineer / CUP Operator
Utilizes advanced skills to perform complex preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, pumps, and related auxiliary equipment. Working under limited supervision, monitors building system operations and performance. Utilizes several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
Inspects building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client.
Oversees and inspects the work performed by outside contractors. Contracted work includes landscaping, snow removal, remodeling, HVAC, plumbers, and cleaning.
Performs assigned repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance. Completes maintenance and repair records as required.
Reviews assigned work orders. Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair. Orders necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks.
Maintains an energy management program to ensure measures are taken to operate all systems in the most efficient manner to keep operating costs at a minimum.
Maintains the building lighting system, including element and ballast repairs or replacements.
Performs welding, carpentry, furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed.
Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate work and assign tasks.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Universal CFC certification is preferred. Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions.
Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.
Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situation where only limited standardization exists. Requires intermediate analytical skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Uses personal computer and / or PDA for work order system, email, ESS and training. Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook. Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

Communicate effectively with order department personnel to maintain quality standards and production requirements.
Trains assistant operators.
Complete required quality checks and daily paperwork and Hour by Hour charts.
Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
Performs other related duties to contribute to the success of the operation as assigned by supervision.

JOB TITLE: 3rd Shift Cup Room Operator
WORK SCHEDULE: 12:00 a.m. (Midnight) to 8:00 a.m.
The Cup Room Operator is responsible for maintaining the operation of heat seal and glue seal machines for the production of paper cups. The operator will ensure machines are kept clean and in good working conditions and are responsible for cleaning any spills in the production area.
The Cup Operator monitor the operation of the machines, checking fluids, make minor adjustments and maintaining cleanliness so that the machines can continue running properly. The Cup Operator is also responsible for loading paper stock into the machine for the production of paper cups. The Cup Operator will communicate any quality problems with the Quality Dept and packers. All employees must follow all Graphic Packaging International safety procedures and policies including wearing personal protective equipment such as steel toed shoes, hearing protection and safety goggles.
WORK DEVICES/TOOLS consist of the following: Bristol brush, latex gloves, paper, pen, grease pen, grease gun, Oil machines, standard tools (utility knife, wrenches, plyers, etc…)
2 years + experience manufacturing/industrial machine operator experience required.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time with scheduled breaks
Must be able to walk around machine/equipment frequently; surfaces are mostly concrete
Must be able lift/carry weight approximately 25 lbs; the average distance carried is approximately 5 feet– 10 feet
Must be able to use a two-step stepstool, and 6 feet – 10 feet ladders with rails and a platform at the top for standing in order to access the equipment for inspection/maintenance/repair
Must be able to bend forward momentarily up to 90 degrees when repairing or maintaining machines.
Must be able to reach between waist and shoulder height which occurs on a frequent basis.
Must have the ability to work in a high paced and multi-task environment
Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

Cup Loader - 3Rd Shift (10:00 PM To 6:30 AM)
Cup loaders are assigned to load cups into the filler and assist in the manual sanitation of the filler. Other tasks may be assigned as needed if the cup loading position is not needed during the shift.
The responsibilities of this position include:
Cup loaders are to make sure the have the right flavor of cups, and lids, for the product being run on the filler.
Ensure they have all of the proper materials in the staging area for the run.
Need to help ensure the area they are working in is clean and when machine is down they help the operator get the machine back to a functional state.
Load cups quickly and accurately so the machine does not incur any downtime waiting for cups.
Clean production filling equipment in the filler during the manual sanitation step of the CIP process.
Complete tasks as needed and as indicated on Job Duties Worksheet (Foam, clean walls, floors, piping, electrical panels, control boxes, floor mats, etc.).
Complete all jobs in a safe and quality manner.
Assist the operator in setting up the line for production and changeovers.
Needs to be able to learn how to operate the machine for the operator while on break or lunch.

This position will train on 1st shift and then move to 2nd.
This person's role will require painting or applying adhesive in a spray type environment
Operated equipment for the purpose of performing epoxy material to be used in the molding process
Helps set up molding presses and performs start-up analysis. Set up and adjust required trim fixtures.
Operate a variety of transfer presses and associate equipment (i.e. preheat ovens, drilling equipment, etc)
Understand quality requirements and inspects parts. Inspects parts in conjunction with testing and stamps parts as deemed necessary.
Performs minor test equipment trouble shooting and repair. Reports all unusual or excessive physical defects or electrical failure to supervisor so corrective action can be taken.
Deflashes and inspects molded plastic parts, performs press checks, fills out appropriate paperwork, performs leak test and packages finished product.
Prepares plastic molded parts for conductive paint application by use of sandblaster or hand sanding on lathe.
Applies conductive paint coating by use of automated paint line or brush.
Leak test, uses lathe to apply RTV, and installs nosepiece and contact assembly
Conducts high voltage withstand (hipot and corona) and partial discharge testing on component products.
Responsible for final assembly and packaging. Must be through, assuring methods, prints, and quality inspections are met. Must be accurate to ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain housekeeping and simple daily preventative maintenance
Recognize, interpret, and communicate issues affecting production such as supplies, stock shortages, support parts availability, tooling issues, etc to peers, technicians, supervisors, etc
Perform basic trouble shooting, identify and perform adjustments within the process window.
