Responsible for ensuring that the proper amount of insulation is installed evenly and consistently to specified depths and cover all exposed attic areas. Required skills, experience and talents:
Knowledge of construction business and/or 1 year prior related experience helpful but not necessary.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Must have a clean driving record and the ability to obtain CDL within 60 days of employment. Installers will be crossed-trained in several departments to further their growth and provide them with more job opportunities. The Weatherization Technician works as a part of the weatherization team to improve the energy efficiency of buildings. This position performs direct services, including the installation of home weatherization materials, minor building repairs, repairs to stop cold air infiltration and associated record keeping.
