Bin Dump Operator III
JOB PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
Employee shall stage, accurately track lot numbers of material staged, and continuously provide raw materials to the batching system for further processing. Included tasks are material handling, material tracking, and CIP/COP of processing rooms and equipment.
Support the review, understanding and compliance of all programs, policies and procedures contained in the Food Safety and Quality Management System.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Prepares and transfers bins, drums and other containers of raw materials into the batching process. Keeps complete and accurate documentation of material lot number and ID coders.
2.Pre-stages bins, drums and other containers of raw materials in the batch room and/or batch room.
3.Keeps dump room area and bin and drum storage areas clean and organized throughout the shift. Keep parts room clean and all parts organized and clean. Maintain lids, totes and tote room clean and organized.
4.Assist the bin dump operator I and/or II and learns to complete equipment CIP/COP and room sanitation.
5.Completes material tracking, CIP/COP and daily sanitation paperwork accurately and neatly.
6.Performs other duties as needed or assigned by supervisor.

Interpersonal and Communication: Ability to function with minimal supervision including the capacity to learn and follow processing, CIP and sanitation procedures, safety rules and other directives- ability to speak and write English.
Technical and Analytical: Ability to read gauges, labels and instructions, basic math skills and the ability to learn how to operate a forklift
Administrative and Operations:
Ability to complete shift reports accurately, ability to prioritize tasks
Physical Demands: Standing for long periods of time, lifting 50+ lbs, climbing stairs, bending, availability to work various shifts
Work Environment: Food plant and outside holding areas, high noise levels, wet working environment, extreme hot and cold conditions, forklift traffic

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Loads, unloads, moves product by hand or by skid.
Operates basic warehouse vehicles (i.e., electric pallet jack and/or forklift).
Operates advanced warehouse vehicles (i.e., turret truck and/or order picker).
Visually inspects boxes for damage or improper packaging.
Puts away product into racks.
Puts away product into bins.
Updates warehouse computer systems using warehouse specific commands and functions.
Moves SKU's throughout the facility as required.
Supports the Safety Culture by following established SOP's.
Engages in the local Safety Culture through safety team support and offering safety suggestions.
Assists department supervisors in identifying risk to associates or the business and mitigate those risks.
Repair damaged bins.
Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSC's mission.
Contacts MSC departments to resolve discrepancies.
Prepares, repairs and builds shelves, labels and identifies shelves for stock.
Set bin capacities and configurations.
Performs preventative maintenance tasks on warehouse equipment. Visual inspection of the equipment only.
Verifies products using item numbers, descriptions, and quantity.
Creates bar code labels using MSC item numbers.
Stages product for put away bins, overstock or racks.
In order to meet customer service requirements, associates can be temporarily re-assigned to other warehouse functions.
Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or the equivalent required.
Must obtain MSC license to drive warehouse vehicles within specified time requirements.
Basic computer literacy required.
Knowledge of tools required.
Bending to lift items from the floor and racks required.
Lifting items between 25 and 50 pounds required.
Ability to operate at heights up to 50 feet required.
Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time required.

Set up and make mold changes for Passenger, Light Truck Tire Curing Presses. Removal and installation of all bladders. Clean and drill venting in molds. Make minor adjustment to presses as needed. Assist loading of Passenger Tire Presses as necessary.
1.PLT Curing Setup tech must be able to make mold and bladder changes, Build and tear down bladders, tearing down and cleaning
molds, drilling molds, and cleaning of molds in press.
2.PLT Curing Setup Tech must be able to make minor mechanical adjustments and emergency repairs, do first tire check and first bag
check, squeeze audits, cure cycle audits, and cure temperature audits, and serial changes in molds.
3.PLT Curing Setup Tech will follow all plant policies, environmental policies, and plant and departmental safety policies. Must be certified to operate a Fork Lift through the Safety Department.
4.PLT Curing Setup Tech must be able to effectively communicate with other setup techs, curing supervision, and curing press operators, and supplying departments.
5.PLT Curing Setup Tech will follow standard practices and perform all work necessary to promptly and accurately obtain quality and quantity production, and keeping work areas neat, clean, aligned and orderly.
6.PLT Curing Setup Tech's time will be accurately and correctly indicated on sap payroll system.
7.Perform other duties as directed by the PLT Curing Supervisor or Department Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

Reduce flash and scrap produced by the molding operation
Examine molds for damage
Blocking damaged cavities
Daily verify and optimize shot volume and injection time to reduce both flash and short shots
Recommend permanent changes to curing condition sheets per results of optimizations on both vertical and horizontal presses
Check mold vent and vacuum lines for wear and damage
Verify and recommend vacuum and bumping settings
Drill out rubber venting holes in molds
Remove expired special condition sheets
Replace baskets of rubber as needed throughout the shift (forklift license required)
Mold releasing molds
Perform in press cleaning of molds as needed
Minor mold repairs
Assist PE with mold improvements
Testing mold balance
Mold changes (vertical & horizontal)

Frequent and continuous light to moderate lifting of 35 pounds, repetitive handling and maneuvering of awkward metal pieces is required. Walking, reaching, bending, and good eye, hand, foot coordination is all necessary. Occasional lifting of heavy dies is required.
Exposed to possible severe hazards, multiple pinch points and general safety issues associates with sheet metal fabrication. Works in hot, cold, dusty, elevated and noisy area.
