Ball is a Lean/SixSigma environment – exposure to these tools and methods is preferred.
The Findlay plant is the largest of the Ball plants, spanning 733,000 square feet. It was the third of Ball Corporation's metal beverage container plants and opened in 1973. Our aluminum beverage can lines provide beverage cans in 12 oz., 7.5 oz., and 5.5 oz. The End line has 6 super modules and runs CDL+ and 150 variables. Findlay is a non-union plant with 400 employees. We operate under two 12 hour shifts per day, 4 on/4 off and 24 hours per day. We rotate days/nights every four weeks.
Primary Purpose of Position:
Performs tasks and provides services to support the plant's production goals, overall business plans and objectives as directed.
Essential Functions and
Complies with established job safety practices, policies and procedures as specified in plant and corporate directives for the safe performance of the work assignment.
Supports and follows the guidelines of the food safety system.
Performs duties as required to insure compliance with the plant's quality standards.
Performs various manual or mechanical production functions by operating, adjusting, and repairing the production equipment to meet customer specifications.
Disassembles, overhauls, and rebuilds production equipment.
Performs troubleshooting on production equipment as required.
Performs preventative maintenance on production equipment as required.
Performs on-the-job training and development of assigned personnel.
Conducts inspection of in-process materials and in-process and finished product.
Responsible for replenishing supplies, materials, parts, and tooling required for assigned area.
Relieves operators and adjusters for breaks.
Performs record keeping duties as required under the direction of management.
Accesses, inputs, and retrieves information from the computer.
Communicates pertinent information to next shift.
Supplies and maintains required hand tools.
Performs cleanup, painting, and housekeeping duties.
Rotates through all workstations as needed.
Reviews SOPs and control plans relevant to their area on a regular basis.
May be required to work in other areas of production.
May be required to go to customer(s) to troubleshoot equipment and/or finished cans.
Initiates, reviews, and follows all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for area of responsibility.

Required to work assigned schedule or 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights, Monday through Sunday, working hours may vary as specified by management. Incumbent must be able to work overtime on a regular basis and/or be on call as directed by management.

Job Description: :
Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment. Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, of the Space Fence Radar Hardware on Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands.
Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance. Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time. Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change.
Maintains effective customer communications and relations. May provide onsite training of customer support personnel.
To provide maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of commercial and industrial heating and air conditioning systems and chillers according to company standards.

This individual will independently design, develop, maintain, control and support battery manufacturing process of Battery Plate Curing. Function as technical lead for process innovation and enhancements to maximize quality, cost and performance. Support in talent development & mentoring of junior engineers within the group. Basic Program Overview:
The successful candidate will serve as a Technical Trainer, Principal for the DCGS-A Maintainer Training Team component of the DCGS-A Family of Systems Training and Training Support Team; responsible for training development, training delivery and training support activities for DCGS-A Increment 1, the U.S. Army's multi-discipline, multi-security classification level flagship Intelligence capability. The successful candiate will serve a Technical Training Lead for the DCGS-A Maintainer New Equipment Training (NET) Team and Training Subject Matter Expert (SME) for DCGS-A Increment 1 systems capabilities; manages the planning, development, and implementation of training programs from initiation of the Material Developers training development process based on the Analyze, Design Develop, Implement and Evaluate (ADDIE) model, through the delivery of NET and sustainment training, to meet PM, DCGS-A requirements. To be considered for open competitive eligibility for the title of Highway Maintainer, you must be deemed qualified by Central Management Services (CMS). Highway Maintainer is a regularly tested title that requires an automated multiple-choice test to be taken at one of the CMS Assessment Centers. After successfully obtaining a passing grade, your name will be placed on an open competitive eligible list for Highway Maintainer in the two counties you select on your application. If you are satisfied with the grade you received for this title, option and county, no further action is required. Your name has already been placed on the open competitive eligible list for this title. Open competitive grades are valid for one (1) year.
