Feed Mill Receiving Operator
POSITION SUMMARY: The Feed Mill Receiving Operator is responsible for inspecting and unloading all incoming ingredients, both bulk and bagged.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned
Receives in bagged and bulked ingredients according to proper procedures.
Operates Feed Mill Control System to select which bin to place ingredients into.
Manages proper inventory levels of all bagged and bulk ingredients according to inventory schedules.
Scales all incoming rucks and unloads them to proper bin locations via receiving control system according to procedures.
Unloads corn and operates both corn dryers during Harvest, performing expected quality checks on cord to determine proper placement according to procedures. This includes grading corn properly.
Maintains all records accurately and neatly in accordance to GMP and divisional guidelines.
Follows housekeeping schedule for the Feed Mill being responsible for keeping assigned areas clean. Used blow down techniques using required PPE.
Delivers feed and is capable of filling in for Feed Delivery Drivers.
Performs weekly and monthly maintenance lubrication duties of receiving and corn drying equipment.
Communicates with associates, vendors, and truck drivers of relevant issues.
Responsible for additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

This position is responsible for inventory of all the farms that need feed delivery, as well as running the computer to make the feed while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Panel Operators must be able to lift up to 60 lb. bags of minerals, must be able to work a computer proficiently, must keep office area and pellet mill floor clean and must work well with others. Must perform task deemed necessary assigned by a member of management.
