Description This position is responsible for inventory of all the farms that need feed delivery, as well as running the computer to make the feed while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. #
Tasks Team Member will be making feed to fill feed orders for contract growers, must be able to lift up to 60 lbs., push, pull, bend, squat, climb stationary ladders, and sit for extended periods of time. May work in variable conditions including heat, high humidity, cold, dusty and high altitudes.
Must be able to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with all levels of management and operations as required. Computer skills Competent in windows based software, must be able to work a computer proficiently must keep office area and pellet mill floor clean and must work well with others. Must be able to complete all tasks assigned by management. Communication Skills able to communicate both verbally and in writing. #

Operate the all feed manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
Adhere to CHS’ quality assurance program regarding ingredient receiving, load-out, and bagging.
Perform necessary sequencing, recording, and documenting of all feed manufactured during shift
Maintain accurate production and FDA records, entering data into Excel spreadsheet.
Mix and prepare livestock feeds efficiently and in a manner that assures accuracy and high quality.
Assist management with production scheduling, inventory planning & control for both ingredients and finished products.
Determine proper routing and distribution for manufactured feeds to appropriate holding bins.
Assist with equipment maintenance and repair as needed.
Load and unload trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
Provide excellent customer service and assist customers when needed.
Observe and enforce all company policies & procedures, adhere to all safety & FDA requirements.
Effectively communicate with managers, co-workers, and customers
Perform general work around the facility and other duties as assigned.
- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.

Feed Mill Operator-3Rd Shift
The operator is responsible for manufacturing feed in accordance with standard operating procedures established at the feed mill. The operator will be responsible for operating the computer automation systems required to receive ingredients, grind grains, and mix feed. The operator will operate the processing equipment according to established standard operating procedures. In addition to feed manufacturing, the operator will assign loads to drivers as required for efficient and timely delivery of feed to growers. The operator will also receive all ingredients in a timely and efficient manner and help perform housekeeping activities, maintenance and repair of equipment, and quality checks on feed and ingredients when needed. The operator is responsible for compliance with all company policies, Local, State, and Federal policies, laws, and regulations.
A minimum requirement of a high school degree or equivalent.
Knowledge of feed manufacturing equipment operation and maintenance is preferred.
Experience in Agricultural Industry is preferred.
Tractor-trailer experience is preferred.
Basic math skills and attention to detail is required.

ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST - FEED MILL Accounting & Finance Arcadia, Wisconsin Apply Description Position at Pilgrim's ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned
Responsible for receiving ingredients into inventory, processing feed production and deliveries, and ensuring data balances between WEM (feed mill automation system), Mtech, and SAP daily.
Work with broiler accountant to ensure accurate feed deliveries before interfacing from Mtech to SAP.
Gather and report information needed for weekly estimates.
Provide accounting manager with cost estimates for feed production, feed delivery, and the elevator cost centers weekly.
Submit weekly and monthly data to third party companies for further analysis on performance and industry comparisons.
Reconcile month end ingredient and finished feed inventory. Assist accounting manager with obtaining SOX documentation necessary for month end inventory.
Perform monthly inventory audits on the feed mill truck shop, fill out proper documentation and obtain signatures needed for SOX documentation.
Ensure the truck shop is completing weekly cycle counts by monitoring inventory activity in SAP.
Gather and report monthly information needed for statistical key figures (SKFs).
Review departmental reports with accounting, feed mill, and live operations manager prior to month end close to ensure accuracy of reports.
Complete and submit corn price survey and default exposure form to State of WI monthly.
Invoice questions from AP and vendors.
Forward corn liens to vendor management and grain procurement as needed.
Assist the accounting and feed mill manager with budget planning and review for the feed production, feed delivery, and elevator cost centers.

Major Responsibilities: Completes on-track report beginning of each shift and delivers to Mill Accounting Clerk at designated time.
Completes track log sheet indicating location of each railcar. Accurately maintains receiving log. Operates railcar-moving vehicle.
Completes checklist before use. Operates forklift and receives warehouse ingredients Operates rail scales and weight ticket stamping device to accurately weigh railcars and/or trucks. Verifies truck/ railcar delivery information and insures ingredients is delivered to correct storage bin in mill.
Examines ingredients for proper quality and secures a sample of each delivery. Follows written sampling procedures to insure ingredient quality. Follows written housekeeping/-cleaning duties.
Assists on minor maintenance on Feed Mill including elevators. Reports any equipment malfunction to Milling Supervisor. Reports any error in mixing of feeds or ingredients in wrong bins to Milling Supervisor.
Serves as back-up for control room operator. Performs other duties as directed by Milling Supervisor.
