Food Service Utility Person is responsible for stocking, serving and clearing restaurant tables by removing and sorting dirty plates, glasses, silverware, and condiments.
Report to work on time and in complete uniform
Your uniform must be clean and nonskid/slip shoes are required.
Follow proper time clock procedures.
Be sure to “swipe in and swipe out”” accordingly, including meal breaks.
Know and comply with all company policies and procedures
Clear tables, separating food and waste into the proper recycling receptacle
Remove dirty plates, glasses, silverware, condiments and other used meal items from tables once all guests have finished.
Transporting food and supplies from various kitchen, dish room, store room and other areas to dining rooms
Prepare and serve cold and warm beverage items, such as soft drinks, deserts, milkshakes, coffee, and using drink dispensing machines
Interact with guests in a professional manner
Understand and communicate effectively with guests regarding food orders, comments and complaints

The basic purpose of this work is to maintain and repair motor vehicles and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. The incumbent works at the Neponset garage and repairs, overhauls and services vehicles, trucks, tractors, and other types of motor driven machinery and other motorized equipment owned by the state; estimates cost of repairs, orders and requisitions parts and supplies and keep accurate records for all work done. Repairs, overhauls and services automotive equipment.
Assists in adjusting and repairing brakes, carburetors, hydraulic pumps, cylinder heads, valves and similar automotive components. Estimates cost of repairs to motor equipment. Inspects completed repairs to verify that they have been properly made and inspects new vehicles to determine condition.
Performs electric and acetylene welding on vehicles and equipment as needed. Repairs automotive and truck bodies as needed. Services and repairs heavy equipment, generators and pumps assigned to section.
