Market Associate Ski Dach
The Market Associate's primary responsibility is to ensure that Expedia's hotel product in their assigned market is competitive, attractive and relevant for Expedia's fast-growing global customer base. Duties include daily opening and closing, daily reports and merchandise inventory control.
Must be able to work mornings starting at 7 a.m. until evenings as late as 10 p.m.
Assist in maintaining a store with the highest level of customer service at all times.
Ensure customers have a memorable experience by helping them select products to suit their personal clothing,skiing/snowboarding needs.
Handles cash daily ranging from $100-$15,000. Accurately rings in retail and rental sales through point of sale software to track revenues and inventory figures.
Assists in accounting for all security issues involving cash, theft, liability and premises
Ensures standards of cleanliness and merchandising are maintained at the highest level
Assists in counting inventory daily, weekly or monthly for internal controls.
Properly fit and tech rental equipment for customers based on vendor standards.

Under the direction of Ski Patrol Director entry level training position for the ski patrol. Designed for people who are interested in pursuing employment as a Snowbird ski patroller but have no/ little prior ski patrol experience and/or no/little site specific experience at Snowbird.
Position Functions/Areas of Responsibility
Monitor general safety of slopes on a daily basis. Erect signs and barricades to be consistent with Snowbird's hazard marking policy. Taking the initiative to search out and correct hazards.
Repair and maintain in operational readiness all caches of equipment, signs, fences, toboggans, ropes, rescue equipment, buildings, snowmobiles, etc.
Observation and enforcement of mountain policies in the areas of fast/ reckless skiing/ boarding and violation of closed areas and closed avalanche danger areas.
Customer Service – present an image of courtesy, efficiency and competence. Provide friendly assistance and advice to guests. Handle situations involving emergencies, violations or crowd control in a calm and professional manner.
Responsible for learning all the material in the Snowbird Ski Patrol Handbook. This reference should give a basic overview of the program and expectations. Every attempt is made to train personnel and to rotate assignments in such a way that over time each trail crew member becomes competent to handle any problem that could arise.
- Must have the ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments at Snowbird.
