7.Adjusts or changes machine tooling such as stops, die heads, cutting tools, as well as gears to insure parts are produced within specifications.
8.Lubricates, checks, adjusts, and makes minor repairs on machines.
9.Performs preventative maintenance.
10. Occasionally operates lift truck to move materials to and from work area.
11. Records production, scrap counts on a daily basis.
12. Records all critical dimensions on SPC charts.
13. Performs housekeeping and other related duties such as cleaning machines as assigned by the supervisor.
Machine Operator - Plasma Cutter
The Plasma B&O Operators setup, adjust and operate equipment including loading raw materials into feeder mechanisms, adjusting speeds, and clearing jams or other malfunctions. Plasma B&O Operator must be able to interpret blueprints and perform precise measurements with tape measures, calipers and micrometers. This position will operate a variety of different machinery or equipment including the Plasma Cutter, Blaster and Abrasive Saw depending on production demand. Attention to detail, problem solving, adaptability and a strong work ethic are essential in our fast paced environment.

Three years prior experience operating industrial machinery preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to interpret job orders and blueprints required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Receives work order and verifies that the components are correct
Receives material and loads on bar feeder; adjusts bar feeder for proper size of material and performs a dry run without material; verifies material against work order for correct lot number
Performs first PC inspection when set-up is completed

The Press Brake Set Up/Operator will be responsible for performing all phases of the press brake operation. This will include set up, programing and loading/unloading parts.
