Job Number: 3541 SUMMARY: Primary technical point of contact for a mixed fleet of multi-engine Rotor-wing aircraft. Solve technical problems in research and development, manufacturing, construction, inspection, and maintenance by using science, engineering and mathematical principles. The work of engineering technicians is more application oriented and more limited in scope than that of engineers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist engineers in various technical aspects of conducting preliminary surveys, planning, designing and execution of the project.
Reads and interprets manufacturer and airline maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other related documentation to determine feasibility and method of altering or repairing the aircraft and its associated components, determining the airworthiness of the aircraft and its associated components and replacement for malfunctioning or damaged components.
Inspects engines and their associated components for airworthiness; repairs or replaces defective engine parts and associated components; removes and installs engines onto the aircraft.
Apply engineering principles to practical situations.
Interacts with Company maintenance control, the customer and manufacturer in matters that concern the airworthiness of the aircraft, operational readiness of the aircraft and issues related to the troubleshooting of the aircrafts system.
Position requires a U.S. Department of State Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT).

- Must have experience with working from blueprint drawings, diagram, specifications, service manuals, sketches, templates and other incomplete data. PREFERRED: Strong Electrical/Avionics background; FAA Part 135 experience a plus

Assists as required in the development and writing of Higher Command (HICOM) orders for Corps and Division exercises. Assists as required in the development of the simulation training Program of Instruction (POI). Maintains awareness and understanding of current and emerging Army & Joint doctrine for Army Brigades, Divisions, and Corps. Within ninety days complete phase one certification per NGTS Phase 1 POI.
Basic Qualifications: • Minimum Military Education Level (MEL) 4 CGSC or Equivalent • Graduate of a related Advance Course; BS or BA degree with 6 years of experience. • Must have, or be able to obtain, a DOD Secret clearance. • Familiar with current Army and Joint Doctrine. • Highly proficient with MS Office suite of software.

Job Description Job Summary: The Slitter/Scroll Shear operator monitors and performs duties to operate slitters and scroll shears to shear sheets for a variety of units; works effectively as a team contributor on all required tasks, works independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees. Essential Functions:
Reviews the daily schedule report at the beginning of the shift to prepare and setup the press to run the required job according to the specifications.
Checks the material and label before running the job to ensure accuracy.
Checks to make sure all proper tools are in place.
Performs a safety equipment check before operating the equipment, including a housekeeping inspection.
Setup the equipment for the job and start each operation separately.
Lines up the sheets of material on the feeder.
Places the skid in stacker and start equipment.
Runs sample sheets, visually check for defects and gauge material as necessary.
Operates the slitter and scroll material to various sizes according to the specifications in the schedule.
Monitors equipment operation periodically.
Performs visual inspections of stamped units, including units in storage containers per instructions.
Counts and place units in storage containers per instructions.
Clears minor equipment jams with appropriate tools.
Performs hourly quality spot checks on units.
Records the results of quality checks.
Fills out production sheets and all other documentation as required.
Turns in load tickets and identify skids of material as required.
Notifies the mechanic of unusual of equipment and operating problems.
Use the light to signal the mechanic that you have an issue with the equipment.
Notifies the supervisor of any nonconforming product.
Makes recommendations to improve the effectiveness of the job, efficiency, quality and quantity.
Performs housekeeping duties at the end of the shift.
Picks up trash on grounds, and exterior walks, sweeps and mops the floor and wipes the equipment.
