Volt is currently seeking Shear Operators for a direct hire role with one of the world's largest metal recycling companyies.
The shear operator will support fabrication operations by processing rolled steel for straightening and shearing to project specifications. This operator will use all available resources to perform assigned duties in a safe and efficient manner. The right individual will be flexible as working hours may extend beyond regular business hours
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Comply with safety procedures and regulations
Program shearing machine in accordance to production tags for length and piece count
Open bundles with bolt cutters, sorting stock length rebar, selecting bar counts and placing material on the shear infeed table for shearing
Communicate and coordinate with crew members to sustain a quality finished product that meets or exceeds customer expectations
Lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods as well as constantly perform a wide range of physical activities which include pulling, reaching, bending over, climbing, balancing, and kneeling
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
1 year previous experience operating a shear or similar hydraulic equipment
1 year experience in either operations and/or manufacturing environment
Able to execute the essential functions and responsibilities of the job with or without reasonable accommodations
Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and business leaders
Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment
Great organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma/GED or equivalent

The Kerr Endodontic Rotary Sales Representative will manage an assigned territory to meet and exceed sales goals as well as support the strategic initiatives for the broader KaVo Kerr organization. Our professional Sales Representative will manage area dealer partners to promote and sell our premium line of endodontic and rotary products to dental offices, dental groups, dental schools and other dental institutions. This role is responsible for growing our current customer base as well as prospecting/sourcing new customers within the territory. Ultimate RB is a world leader in recycled rubber technology based on polyurethane innovation and is the premier manufacturer of recycled rubber products including rolled rubber, matting and playground surfaces. We are seeking Molding Press Operators for our McMinnville, Oregon manufacturing plant.
Our Shear Operators produce horse stall matting products. Work is performed within a manufacturing environment with conditions caused by noise, heat, cold, vibration, etc. This is an entry-level position. Work will be performed on an off shift. Some overtime is required.
Move products weighing up to 200 pounds with assistance by an air table . Personal Protective Equipment is required. New hires are trained on day shift. Once trained new hires will be moved to an off shift. Pre-employment background checks and drug testing are a requirement.

Required Education, Skills and Experience:
