Wet Process Technician
The Wet Processing Technician operates machines that wash and/or passivate to remove impurities from medical devices or, to color anodize titanium parts. These responsibilities extend to all aspects of wet processing and environment, including process improvement and lean manufacturing concepts.
Shift: Tuesday - Friday, 5:00am-3:30pm
Worksite: Cornelius Pass Special Processes Cell
Responsible for the following as they apply to either the Clean/passivation area or the Titanium anodize area:
Maintain efficient production in the clean/passivation or anodizing areas.
Read blueprints to determine material and processing requirements; follow processing instructions as identified by work order router and work instructions; package parts following the proper procedure to prevent damage during in-house transport and/or shipping to secondary vendor processing.
Organize and process work in an efficient manner to maintain a low throughput average.
Demonstrate an awareness of when and how the hand cleaning process should be used in clean/passivation.
Use anodizing process to color titanium parts according to Acumed's requirements and quality standards.
Maintain cleaning, passivation, etching and/or anodizing chemicals per work instructions.
Use titration process to analyze fluid concentrations.
Record bath concentrations and/or titration results as necessary, maintaining accurate records per SOP
Operate controls to regulate temperature and length of cycles.

"Controlled Process" cleaning, passivation, anodizing and/or clean room experience highly preferred

Wet Process Technician I
Assists Team Lead and/or other technicians in meeting production, delivery, quality and safety goals. Coordinates with and checks the work of Wet Process operators. Trains operators in required methods. Has operation experience and performs technician work as required.
Operates equipment and processes per SOPs and master batch records.

Wet Plant Operator I
Essential Functions Statement(s)
Performing general labor such as plant clean-up and housekeeping.
Following direction and completing tasks in a timely manner with close supervision.
Tasks include, but are not limited to cleaning under tail pulleys and high build up areas, ensuring belts are tracking properly, ensuring polymer batching system is filled with dry polymer and liquid polymer is at adequate level, and any other task assigned by lead or wet plant manager.
Ability to train on plant control systems.

Ability to train in Quality Assurance program and test processes as required by the QA program and procedures.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
High School Diploma or GED required.

Fabricator II Wet Layup
Fabricators perform production-related activities as outlined in work instructions and verbal directions. Fabricator adheres to high workmanship standards essential to the construction of products. Various applications and operations required include trimming, folding, burning and/or adhering substances to material surfaces. May use composites / metals / plastics / tape / labels / hand tools and different types of fabric and materials.
Wet Layup: Prepares molds for layup. Weighs and mixes resins, catalysts and adhesives. Distributes resin according to Shop Work Instructions and/or Routings. Maintains proper ply orientation/counts and insures proper part conformity such as no bridging and voids. Prepares vacuum bags per general bagging procedures.
Essential Functions Wet Layup:
Prepreg Layup: Some prepreg work may be required, using molds and tools as required.
Oven Operation: Sets up correct computer program, oven controller and temperature recorder. Sets up tools/parts with thermocouples and vacuum lines.
Documents cure data, stores computer data and print outs.
Travelers/Routings: Follows and uses part travelers (work orders) routings and SWI's. Properly document all information as required.
Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe work environment and ensuring the proper care of tooling and equipment.
Moves or assists in moving materials, parts, tools and equipment as required.
Responsible for ensuring fabricated parts are within quality standards and tolerance requirements before and after layup process. Designated time standards must be met.

Wet Utilities General Superintendent
We are looking for a highly motivated leader with experience in the wet utilities industry. We are an established contractor that specializes in sewer, storm drain and water installations for both residential and commercial sites. We plan to work on Public Works Projects this year as well. The optimal candidate will be expected to:
- Recognize field safety issues, enforce company safety policies with field, nourish and improve company safety culture
- Monitor field quality standards and contractor performance. Ensure that all quality assurance and company standards are being met and jobs are being installed correctly
- Plan production so all work will be completed as efficiently as possible to meet or beat established budgets while conforming to all approved contract documents, standards and specifications
- Be the primary liaison between office personnel and field foremen for the day-to-day construction activities of projects
- Be the "Face of the Company" in the field and represent us in a positive light with owners/General Contractors, city/inspection agencies, subcontractors and the general public

The Wet Lab Technician must be able to perform all lab analysis using burettes, pipettes, pH/ion meters, atomic absorption spectrophotometer, laboratory balance, hydrometers, hull cells, CVS, and all other lab related equipment. Will perform all lab analysis and special tests for reporting to Plating Managers and Process Engineers. Will be exposed to hazardous waste while performing daily job duties. Perform all lab analysis and special tests of chemicals used in the wet process areas
Accurately report chemical analysis and tests to Plating Managers and Process Engineers
Make all chemical additions and bath make-ups
Complete all internal departmental documentation accurately
Keep accurate up to date records regarding current baths on production floor
Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on most lab equipment, chemical controllers, pumps, and other lab related equipment
Interacts with vendors and visitors
