Assembles and thoroughly inspects C/M product quality throughout the production shift. Regularly pulls planks from production containers, assembling them together, and inspecting thoroughly.
Reports defects or other quality issues to the machine operator immediately.
Signs off on product quality.
Follows up to ensure defects are corrected.
Documents and records inspection results in a spreadsheet format.
Performs basic ShopFloor tasks related to creating and releasing containers.
Sorts C/M rejected planks (B stack). Documents and records the results of sorting.
During change-over and PM, assists machine operator with assigned of tasks.
Loads, unloads and moves material using forklift
Performs other tasks assigned by management.
High school diploma or equivalent
Achieves minimum acceptable levels on Work Keys assessment tests for Applied Mathematics, Applied Technology, Locating Information and Reading for Information
Basic Computer skills
Proven experience in a quality related, fast paced production environment
Forklift experience or willingness to learn to operate forklift

Cutting Technician (3Rd Shift) - Plate
The Cutting Technician position is responsible for all job tasks associated with the cutting of the parts and the proper removal and identification of the cut parts from the cutting table and packaging, including but not limited to: ensuring proper tech table values, nozzle selection, material checks, cut quality, transformations and product inspections. As the Cutting Technician you are responsible for the quality and quantity of the parts coming off the table(s).
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Mechanically inclined, production oriented, and safety and quality conscious.
General knowledge of crane operation and ancillary lifting devices.
Detail oriented with ability to inspect material for quality conformance through the use of measuring devices and drawings.

Job Description: Summary
Responsible for the day to day operating, monitoring, and repair of glass cutting machines in line with auto glass packing equipment and ultrasonic washers. The associate must be able to work both independently and as a team member and actively communicate with others to include workplace teams.
Responsible for meeting/exceeding production standards, maintaining product quality, and minimizing/preventing equipment downtime. Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function. Ability to speak, read and write English. Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and practices and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures.
1.Operate and monitor equipment cycles. Operators have complete responsibility for their quality, production, waste, and machine workability/accountability.
2.Perform machine set-up and changeovers.

11. Verify process steps are completed correctly in batch records.

Responsible for press make ready: adjust press to accommodate for new product sheets being cut (set feeder, lock up die, set stripper, blanker, and delivery).
Inspect quality of each load run: responsible for checking random sheets from each cut load to ensure for quality.
When cutting problems are encountered, Pressman is to flag and isolate poorly produced materials (all defective loads are to be tagged). Pressman is to make proper corrections before continuing the order.
Remove cut loads from press by use of handtruck.
Maintain written records of production. Records of waste, production time, waiting time etc...are to be kept.
Responsible for running press as efficiently as possible.
Perform score bend readings.

Manufacture quartz components utilizing machine tools, hand tools and other equipment. Produce and inspect machining operations and finished products against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools.

Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications.

Verify part or process conformance to specification calibrate or adjust equipment to ensure quality production with approved inspection tools, such as callipers, micrometers, height gages, pin gages and comparators.
Perform detail work, which may include waxing, dewaxing, chamfering, acid wash or other cleaning, cosmetic inspection of parts and other similar functions.
Assists with troubleshooting problems with equipment, devices or products.
Maintain equipment. Detect and correct minor machine malfunctions and perform daily and monthly machine maintenance as directed.

Cutting Solution Consultant (F/M)
The Cutting Solutions Consultant is a key contributor in promoting and implementing Lectra's cuttings solutions offer for our prospects and customers.
The Cutting Solution Consultant is supporting the sales teams in selling our solutions through his active contribution during the presales process, demonstrating the added value of our Solutions.
He (or she) will be also collaborating to the Consulting and Solution Implementation phases, including training activities.

The Cutting Solutions Consultant contributions will include:

Proven expertise and practice of applications related to the manufacturing processes in at least one of the following industries: Apparel, Automotive, Furniture;
High level of knowledge of manufacturing customer processes;
Technical knowledge of the Lectra offer is a plus, especially the material cutting solutions and their practical application to the manufacturing process;
Familiarity with electronics, electrical and mechanical engineering;
Auto-control and CAD/ CAM knowledge;
Ability to cope with constant pressure (without comprising standards) by being well organized and planning time well;
High level of adaptability;
Excellent communication and presentation skills written and spoken,
Language skills: fluent in German and English (read, written and spoken), an eastern European or Adriatic region language will be a plus
The position is based in Warsaw, Poland
There will be 50% of travelling required to customer sites/Lectra offices in Central and Eastern Europe and the Adriatic region.
