A CNC Tool Grinder/Programmer produces premium quality, high precision carbide cutting tools using specific tool grinding machines and programs.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Certification from a qualified training institution in the field of tool and cutter grinding is ideal but not required.
Extra consideration for certification from companies such as: Star, Numroto, Rollomatic, Walter, Reinecker, etc.
- Must be very comfortable navigating any Windows based computer program, Virtual Grind Pro, and/or Numroto programs
Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisor and co-workers.
English being the primary language with no bi-lingual requirements.
- Math/ Geometry knowledge is s plus. Must also be able to convert metric to inch and decimal to fraction.
- Must have a strong analytical troubleshooting ability.
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

- Standing 90 percent of the day, some bending into the machines and lifting heavy trays of blanks and tools.

POSITION SUMMARY :
You will operate a cutting machine with plasma or flame and bevel sides of steel plates using the beveling machine. This is the first step of building a tower section.
As a Cutting Table Operator, you must be able to :
Operate a cutting machine (plasma cutting table)
Bevel all sides of steel plates using the beveling machine
Position steel plates on the cutting table using the vacuum plate lifter
Remove scrap from the plates

Perform manual and machine operator tasks related to the set-up, maintenance and operations of the Bobst Die Cutter. Responsible for the safety of crew, quantitative and qualitative die cutter performance.
Job Duties/ Responsibilities:
