Quad/Graphics is currently seeking a Large Format Sheetfed Press Feeder to work in our Tempt facility on Glendale Drive in New Berlin. Press Feeder is responsible for set up and operation of press infeed.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Setup and operation of press feeder
Assisting press operators
General housekeeping and maintenance of the press
HS diploma or equivalent.
Strong math skills and knowledge of simple computer operations.
Ability to read, interpret and process written job instructions including those dealing with dimensions and quantity.
Prior press feeder experience preferred.
Large format printing background preferred.
Familiarity with running heavy board, plastics and other unusual substrates.
Mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills.
Must have some understanding of color and the ability to pass a Color Test.
Experience with forklift operation and/or other material handling equipment a plus.
Position is for First Shift – 6:30am to 3:00pm, M-F with overtime and weekend work as required

Press Feeder (Third Shift) (37501)
Ensure paper or raw materials (inks, glues, etc.) are loaded into feeders, hoppers, bins, etc. to supply a constant flow of materials while the equipment is running. Make adjustments to equipment such as feeder mechanism based on the size of the paper.
Deliver equipment components such as plates or spray heads to the equipment for installation. Recycle old/discarded plates. Provide basic assistance as needed to make-ready the equipment for operation. Assist with retrieving plates, hanging plates and recylcling/storing plates and other tasks associated with make-ready of the plates.
Requires basic knowledge of presswork procedures and materials learned through on the job training. Ability to follow instructions to assist in press set up, operation and maintenance. Able to operate hand carts, pallet jacks, stackers, and hydraulic feed mechanisms.
Supervisor Road Feeder Services
Serves the Company by providing ground transportation vendors for common carriage freight and COMAT movement to and from our Gateways. Also, assists in maintaining scheduled ground transportation networks for Marketing and Sales to assist in securing beyond gateway customers.
Monitor and manage existing Road feeder network for cost effectiveness and service.
Work with Road feeder vendors to ensure pre-determined service levels are maintained.
Review with local station management and staff to ensure all Polar beyond trucking needs are being met
Check and approve all trucking vendor invoicing for accuracy prior to submission for payment.
Liaise between trucking companies and Customers and local Polar staff to order and monitor Truck services and ensure service commitments are met.
Assist Import customers with shipment status information
Track offline pallets that are with Freight Forwarders, Truckers and repair vendors.
Travel as required
Assist with all aspects of ULD flow when the ULD Manager is not available
Must have a working knowledge of Rules, Regulations and restrictions regarding road carriage of freight in all applicable regions.
Must be comfortable and familiar with using a computer and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Corinth Reman/3500 Cylinder Head Machine Line Technician (2Nd Shift)

Position Title: 3500 Cylinder Head Machine Line
JOB PURPOSE: Operator will be responsible for machining and qualifying cylinder heads to spec
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Work in a fast-paced, safety and quality focused environment to machine cylinder heads.
Operator should have attention to detail and be self-motivated.
Operator will work in a team environment.
Operator is expected to cross train in other areas of operations to provide flexibility within the job classification scope.
Operator will utilize Mazak and mills to machine cylinder heads to specifications – machines may include radial arm drills, Serdi, etc.
Use gauges and visual inspection to check specifications per prints.
Access EPIX to view/read prints.
Operator will sort, qualify and install seats and guides into cylinder heads.
Will use a hoist and CX lifting tools to move parts from basket to tubs/racks.
Use a pallet jack to move parts in and out of area.
May be required to lift, push, pull heavy parts multiple times per shift.
Must be able to stand for 8-12 hours
Minimum of 6 months manufacturing experience
Intermediate experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
Intermediate experience operating inspection equipment and gauges.
Top Candidates will also have:
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office programs including Word and Excel.
Previous cylinder head experience.
Previous experience using a hoist.

The Product Feeder position exists to feed raw materials to the production line in order to maintain continual operation of the production line. Under the general supervision of the Production Manager, this individual must be able to remain fully attentive of their work surroundings while working at a steady pace to supply a continually moving, high speed production line. Performs rework of finished goods or raw materials.
Assists in clean up of production equipment during product change over.
Assists QC with magnet checks.
Monitors handling unit tags by writing the process order on the handling unit tag, removing the handling unit tag from the pallet and placing in the current bin. When pallet board is completely used, the handling unit tag is placed in the consumed bin.
Completes Sanitation Inspection sheet with Quality Control Technician on a daily basis.
Performs daily housekeeping duties in the work area and occasional housekeeping duties in the plant or warehouse areas including sweeping, vacuuming, collecting trash, washing walls and equipment.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a consistent daily basis
Must have the ability to read, write and perform simple math calculations in order to accurately measure amounts of ingredients.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Clears machine before and after each run and picks up and destroys all foreign material. Empties all waste receptacles located within the blue line area.
Reviews job ticket and selects the proper type and quantity of paper. Loads and unloads paper. Inspects paper for defects or damage.
Obtains proper ink from ink room and fills ink fountains. Maintains proper levels of ink at all times.
Mixes water fountain solution and sets up dampening system. Maintains proper levels of water. Checks PH balance and conductivity reading of water.
Sets up and operates the mechanical press feeder.
Assists the press operator in the mounting of plates, blankets, and packing.
Moves loads of printed and unprinted stock when necessary.
Performs routine adjustments during the press run.
Performs housekeeping duties as directed. Keeps sufficient supply of chemicals and clean rags at the press. Responsible for keeping the press area clean at all times.
Responsible for timely and accurate completion of all ISO forms and quality checks for each job.
Marks up printed sheet for coating knockouts. Checks the sheet against the mylar.
Performs job duties in accordance with all federal, state, local, and company safety rules.
