Currently, Meijer is seeking a Maintenance Level 3. Improves, maintains and repairs all equipment used in manufacturing, production and packaging functions. Troubleshoots mechanical and process issues. Supports and executes plant specific maintenance strategies to achieve key plant performance goals. Partners with Maintenance Master/Manager to review production goals and schedules as well as maintenance requests to plant or modify maintenance activities. Perform routine and emergency maintenance (major and minor) of utilities systems in a multi-craft environment including PLC, instrumentation, mechanical and equipment repair
Responsible for Preventative Maintenance (PM) and timely work order completion for complex
Perform routine chemical testing, making necessary operational adjustments to maintain proper operating parameters for cooling tower and boiling water
Monitor complex heating/ventilation system and adjust controls for proper operation
Provide 24/7 automated process monitoring and take appropriate action as needed
Works with the Maintenance Planner to maintain supplies through ordering and receiving chemicals, record usage and interaction with appropriate vendors
Maintain manufacturing and complex equipment by performing Preventative (PM), Predictive (PdM) and Corrective Maintenance to ensure maximum life expectancy of machinery

MA Dairy Promotion Board (MDPB) Coordinator:
The Massachusetts Dairy Promotion Board (MDPB) develops programs and policies with the objective of increasing the consumption of Massachusetts dairy products. The board collects a fee of 10 cents per hundredweight from Massachusetts milk producers. All monies are held in the dairy promotion board trust fund.
Dairy Promotion Board Trust Fund Management:
Accurately track, record and file monthly milk production amounts;
Make timely and accurate deposits of monthly contributions;
Keep timely and accurate records of all MDPB trust expenditures;
Notify any milk producer who is not contributing to the trust fund;
Prepare annual Agricultural Marketing Services (AMS) Application of Dairy
Product Promotion, Research, or Nutrition Education Programs; and verify bi-annual contribution reports with National Dairy Promotion Board.
Follow state procurement procedures to develop Request for Response (RFR) for Massachusetts Dairy Promotion Board Grant Program:
Follow AMS Marketing Orders regarding dairy promotion procedures and protocols;

Assist to manage and supervise up to 10 associates in the Dairy/Frozen Department. Is responsible for assisting the Department Manager with the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this department.

Verifies team member schedules against business needs
Coach and discipline team members as necessary in accordance with policy and procedures with support from Talent Management
Verify all books and manuals are kept updated
Oversee inventory process and reporting
Oversee that Food Safety Procedures are adhered to
Approve all purchase orders and maintain adequate levels
Maintain stock levels. Keep the shelves full of ad merchandise and items kept in back stock
Ensure proper rotation procedures are being enforced
Make sure all tags are properly placed and in good condition
Demonstrate good conflict management skills
Perform other duties assigned by upper management
Must be 18 years of age or older
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 years' experience in grocery or dairy department
The Department Manager is required to work the scheduled work shift as needed to meet the needs of the store guests and team members
Ability to work and communicate with all levels of management and subordinates in a professional manner
Ability to self-motivate, problem-solve and work with minimal supervision
Be able to perform all other physical aspects of the position including but not limited to bending, squatting, standing, lifting at a height of 5 feet, climbing, pushing, pulling, and walking
Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 75 lbs. and push and pull up to 100 lbs
Ability to work within a freezer and / or fridge for an extended period of time
Must possess technical skills to perform basic math and computer tasks (Word, Excel, Email).
Ability to work at fast-paced, but efficient and controlled manner
Must maintain Certified Food Safety Manager certification
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Ability to receive phone calls at home
Must be flexible to work various hours/shifts, including weekends and holidays
Must attend meetings, including out-of-town, requiring overnight stays
Must be able to transfer to another store within the area
Ability to function as a team member and get along with others

Perform all functions related to breaking down deliveries, moving back stock to floor, and merchandising new products and stocking shelves. Make sure temp logs, sweep logs and sanitation logs are completed when applicable.
Maintain a safe, clean and well-organized working and shopping environment.
Support global, regional and store programs.
Answer department telephone calls and pages quickly and with excellent phone etiquette.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Familiarity and/or willingness to learn about products, nutritional information, and other areas of study
Comprehensive knowledge of dairy products
Working knowledge and application of all dairy merchandising expectations within the department with a specific focus on attention to detail
A desire to grow with the grocery team
Ability to sell proactively
Ability to deliver information in a clear and respectable manner to fellow team members, customers, and vendors
Ability to educate team on product knowledge and convey enthusiasm
Strong demonstrated organizational and time management skills
Strong basic math skills
