As a Senior Application Technologist your role is to support and fuel the profitable growth of the IFF North American Flavors Team by taking ownership of projects that demonstrate our flavors in high quality, commercially scalable flavor applications in the Dairy segment.
An important part of this role is to support the commercial team by identifying customer needs and opportunities, while establishing key technical to technical relationships with customers.
The formulation of finished prototypes should take into account market knowledge, regulatory guidelines, cost parameters, processing requirements and other specifications as outlined in customer briefs. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new product formulae, applying flavors in base and producing prototypes in the laboratory, and shall confer with the Sales Team and Flavorists on projects to meet our customers' needs.
Regional category initiatives might also require support.
Manage customer briefs to address business opportunities as outlined in project brief.
Develop new innovative products to meet the conceptual brief, compliant with regulatory requirements, within cost parameters and commercially scalable, stability tested and suitable for mainstream production.
Support the commercial team to contribute to the growth of our business, taking a creative and strategic approach to brief execution and contributing to brainstorming sessions and account strategy planning as needed

Assist assigned feed dealers in development and execution of a marketing strategy to grow dairy market share.
Requirements for this position include a Bachelor's Degree, dairy industry knowledge, working knowledge of proper management and feeding practices, computer literacy and the ability to become proficient in feed formulation/ration balancing, and strong agricultural business aptitude. Prior sales experience and a proven track record developing new accounts, a plus. The successful candidate will have superior verbal and written communication skills, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
The candidate must reside in the territory, be comfortable with on-farm conditions (i.e. working around dairy cattle, farm machinery, etc.), have a valid driver's license, withstand automobile confinement to serve geographic area, and have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a routine basis.

Dairy Process Engineer
Identifying customer requirements;
Designing systems and products;
Reading design specifications and technical drawings;
Researching suitable solutions and estimating costs and timescales;
Making models and prototypes of products using three-dimensional design software;
Working to British (BS), European (EN) and other standards;
Liaising with others in the design team;
Communicating with clients and contractors;
Attending meetings on site;
Designing and conducting tests;
Recording, analysing and interpreting test data;
Proposing modifications and retesting products;
Qualifying the final product or system;
Servicing and maintaining equipment;
Preparing product documentation, writing reports and giving presentations;
Monitoring a product in use to improve on future design.
Experience in studying and installing Process systems in Dairy industries (or Food and Beverages). would be an asset.
Must have knowledge of NEC Code Skills for all candidates:
