Elavon is currently seeking a Customer Communications Data Analyst, who will work directly with the Senior Director of Customer Communications to manage customer intelligence within the communications team. This newly-created role will develop and analyze business intelligence methods to enable successful, targeted communications campaigns. This role will be a strong customer advocate and will be integral in enabling more positive customer experiences across complex sales channels. Additional responsibilities include:
Develop Strong Processes
Coordinates and owns prospective customer intelligence within the Communications team;
Manages day-to-day functions to ensure data accuracy and completeness across all programs;
Acts as the central point of contact to maintain customer demographic information;

In this role, you will have insight into almost all of the major projects and initiatives being pursued company-wide. The job requires you to provide feedback and vetting for all public-facing initiatives that involve Facebook Inc. data. Not only that, you will be in charge of and conduct your own research projects and analyses to support our public relations teams.
The ideal candidate has strong research and communications instincts — someone who can both conduct and understand complex research but also knows how to best present insights to various audiences. The ideal candidate also has no problem speaking truth to power: calling attention to errors and potential red flags, even to company leadership, while being constructive in their advice and feedback. Being detailed-oriented and having a critical eye are musts.
This is a full-time position located in New York, NY or Menlo Park, CA.
Conduct in-depth research on Facebook Inc. products in support of our external facing projects.
Ensure quality by reviewing and providing feedback on work done by other analysts, data scientists, and PR leaders.
Help craft data communications strategies and narratives around big product moments and events.
Work with leaders in Investor Relations, Legal, and Policy to enforce the highest quality research standards.
Develop creative ways to present information for external use, such as data visualizations.
Bachelors Degree in a quantitative field
3+ years of work experience in quantitative research or data analysis
Experience with multiple programming and statistical analysis languages such as SQL, Stata, R, Python, and Java
Experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or working with public-facing teams
Advanced Degree in a quantitative field
Experience working with a communications/public relations team
Expertise and experience producing custom data visualizations
Experience operating independently, anticipating needs, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results quickly
Advanced programming skills or experience in software engineering and web development
