Broker Dealer Chief Compliance Officer
What we need:
The Chief Compliance Officer – Cetera Advisor Networks ("CCO") will be the CCO of Cetera Advisors Networks ("CAN") and will be responsible for implementation of the compliance program:
CAN has approximately 3,200 independent financial advisors. The CCO will work closely with several key constituencies within Cetera Financial Group ("CFG") including CAN, CFG Legal department, CFG Network Compliance, Finance, IT and other departments as needed.
The CFG Network Compliance team is uniquely structured, and is comprised of 6 independent broker-dealer's Compliance Departments, and several Shared Services Compliance departments that support the broker-dealer Compliance departments including Anti-Money Laundering, Surveillance, Advertising, Branch Office Exams, Complaints Surveillance, Regulatory Examinations and Inquires, and Project Management.
This position is based in El Segundo, CA. and will report directly to the Chief Risk Officer for CFG with a dotted line to the CEO of CAN. This position is responsible for the management of a staff of 5, as well as the relationship with the Network Compliance Departments.
What you will do:
Draft and maintain policies and procedures to ensure that broker-dealer compliance programs meet applicable laws and regulations and ensure that advisors' operations are conducted in compliance with applicable policies and procedures
Oversee compliance risk assessments and manage the department's testing and monitoring program in accordance with regulatory expectations and best practices
Review, revise and test compliance programs in accordance with 3120/3130 standards
Work with senior management, legal department, human resources, Regional Directors, Registered Representatives and other key constituencies to encourage, promote and enhance a culture that encourages ethical conduct and a commitment to compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Be a subject matter expert when dealing directly with advisors on a variety of compliance, regulatory and business/industry topics
Represent CAN during industry meetings as well as during the CAN National Educational Meeting
Provide recommendations to the business regarding the implementation of new rules and regulations
Manage the compliance department supporting CAN
Travel up to 30%

At least 10 or more years of progressive experience in AML/CTF compliance at a finance institution, broker dealer or investment advisor or government agency, with progressively increasing professional responsibilities in advisory, training and risk assessments

The Dealer Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with key dealer accounts. Provide management with weekly and bimonthly schedules via MS Outlook Calendar
Provide management reports on product quality issues via ARGUS
Ensure that all necessary paperwork, including ARGUS case details, major component orders, and warranty authorizations are processed in a timely manner
Perform limited audits of the dealer's warranty department to ensure compliance to Volvo Penta policies
Develop and maintain a high level of best business practices and technical proficiency in marine leisure, marine commercial and industrial products
Achieve quantitative objectives within assigned area of responsibility as assigned by the Manager of Service, Region Americas
Perform other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management and deemed vital to the achievement of the Volvo Penta business plan
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in business, technical or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum (5) five years marine and/or industrial retail trade experience or equivalent, preferably in a service management role
At least 1 year experience in retail dealership operations preferred
Technical Certificates preferred – e.g. auto, truck, equipment, engines, drives, etc.
Volvo Penta certifications are a plus
High ability to work independently
Problem Solving/Decision Making
Bilingual in Spanish
Strong working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Products
French is a plus
Availability to travel internationally
Requires standing, walking, lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
Requires frequent walking, stooping, kneeling, bending, and crouching
Requires frequent out-of-town travel, including international travel (90%)

Exciting opportunity for a San Leandro or Irvine-based Dealer Support Representative:
Cummins Sales and Services is looking for an experienced Dealer Support Representative. The Dealer Support Representative is responsible for receipt and processing of subscription-based services throughout the Cummins Pacific Region as well as provide maintenance for the Cummins Information Systems (Quickserve Online).
Key responsibilities to include:
Processing inbound call and email requests for subscription-based renewals
Data entry of customer information into various databases
Train on our latest products
Instruct customers on the use of various subscriptions and forms
Perform other related duties as necessary to meet business needs
