Rf/Communications Engineer
MSX International is currently seeking a RF/Communications Engineer to perform communications system simulation, antenna design and simulation, communications system and antenna testing applicable to the automotive industry. Your work will be key in creating a future of connected and autonomous vehicles. Under the direction of senior antenna and wireless communications engineers, you will perform automotive wireless communications simulations using tools such as MATLAB, Simulink or Keysight SystemVue. You will then validate these simulations through testing both bench level and on vehicle. Again under the direction of senior engineers, you will perform antenna simulations both at the antenna component level and on vehicle models. You will then lead the validation of these models both through component and vehicle level antenna pattern testing. In addition, you will support research into advanced antenna designs and future communications systems (5G NR, C-V2X, Ultra-wideband). The successful candidate must have the following skills and experience:
Communications, RF and Antenna Simulation and Test Engineering
Familiarity (including college coursework) with CAE tools such as HFSS, FEKO, CST, ADS, MATLAB, Simulink
Experience (including college coursework) with test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters and signal generators
Ability to work with a team, and learn from senior Antenna/Wireless Communication Systems
Two plus years' experience in any one of the following: antenna design, antenna test, wireless system design, wireless hardware design, wireless communications systems design and testing
Antenna design experience
Experience operating large antenna test facilities both nearfields and farfields, anechoic chambers and outdoor test sites
Experience with high frequency electromagnetic field solvers such as HFSS, CST or FEKO to design antennas and simulate antenna interaction on large structures such as automobiles
Experience with Keysight ADS or Genesys to develop antenna matching networks
Knowledge of the following technologies 5G, C-V2X, MIMO, OFDM, HARQ, LTE/WCDMA/GSM, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/ad or Bluetooth/BLE
Channel modeling experience (Winner II, Winner +, ray tracing techniques)

MSX International is currently seeking a RF System Engineer who will design and develop cutting edge wireless communication systems for automotive applications such as Vehicle to Vehicle Communications and Autonomous Vehicles. We are looking for RF Systems Engineers with experience in designing and analyzing wireless communications systems. These RF system engineers must have a solid understand of how wireless links such as LTE, Narrowband VHF, WiFi, Bluetooth, and Low Frequency RFID are designed and optimized. They will develop vehicle level OTA design validation methods which will be used across all company vehicle lines worldwide.
