The polisher/deburrer is responsible for finishing parts to customer specifications.
Polishing stainless steel weldments to blend welds and establishing grain direction to food grade requirements utilizing hand held power tools, files and abrasive products.
Deburring sharp machined edges of stainless steel, common steel, aluminum, and plastic materials using tools such as small grinders, sand paper, sanding tools, polishing equipment and more.
Stamping part numbers on parts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
You will perform repetitive manual deburring and polishing operations, keeping parts in quality compliance and following manufacturing process steps.

Position Purpose: To perform duties of rough grinding process or the finish grinding process of rods which may include troubleshooting, set up and general maintenance of machine.
Summary of Primary Duties:
The incumbent is responsible for a variety of straightforward, routine duties in the assigned department or work area related to the manufacture and assembly of product. The incumbent participates in the company's quality initiatives including, but not limited to: TS/ISO certification and maintenance of quality systems in place. The incumbent participates in the company's safety programs by ensuring a safe and clean working environment, timely reporting of any safety violations, timely reporting of any workplace incidents or injuries, and effective housekeeping.
Principal Responsibilities and Duties:
Removes raw rods from the screw machine and places into auto-feed hopper.
Sends ground rods to the plater or the production line, per work order specifications.
Performs routine quality checks on rods using test equipment ensuring minimal defects
Prepares SPC charts and other production records as needed
Operator will train on operating all the equipment on the rod grinding line. Will also train on the Thielenhaus and Surfina superfinishers. May need to move between the grinding and finishing machines as production requirements dictate.

A growing precision grinding department is seeking an experienced Grinder / Finisher. This is a “direct-hire” position that operates CNC grinding machines in the Park City area.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Setting-up, editing programs, trouble shooting, and operating machines. Use a range of manual measuring tools to inspect machined parts is required as well.
Desired Requirements for the Grinder / Finisher position:
- Ability to set-up, edit and operate CNC ID / OD Grinding Machines and/or CNC mills & lathes.
- Must have an excellent understanding of GD&T.
- Previous Studers, Voumards or Okuma cylindrical grinder experience preferred.

Sets up and grinds without help of supervision or setup men. Sets up all types of grinding equipment, which may include numerical control or computer aided equipment used in tool and die shop work for grinding type of cutter or tool, or for the original making of cutters or cutting tools.
Grinds form tools on contour form broaches, reamers, multi-edge high speed or Tungsten carbide tools from blueprints or sketches.
Uses cylindrical grinder to grind straight cylinders, broach diameters, tapers, fillets, where shoulder joins the shaft by means of form wheel, also by squaring or facing shoulder on cylindrical pieces, grinding back taper if necessary.
Required to be acquainted with grinding wheels and materials used in present day grinding practice. Must be

When required, is able to use precision instruments for checking dimensions, such as micrometers, dial indicators, Johansson blocks, height gauges and Vernier Calipers, radius gauges, sine bar or sine bar vises, etc.
