The Deburrer de-burrs machined parts using a wide variety of tools and techniques with established de-burr practices and safety standards. This individual plays a vital role in supporting the manufacturing process and meeting internal & external delivery schedules.
De-burring complex hardware with critical and close dimensional tolerance and surface finish in accordance with blueprint requirements, MOT's, routings, SOP's and other supporting documentation, standards and procedures.
Verifying drawings, MOT's and routings to ensure manufacture of hardware in accordance with good de-burring practices and verifying quality of product at the required internals per company policy.
Preparing production records for manufactured parts as required.
Identifying and processing parts to meet manufacturing schedules to support customer deliveries ensuring movement of material to maximize efficiency
Ensuring that equipment and facilities are maintained for efficient production and work area is clean and organized.

High School Diploma or equivalent required

The Precision Deburrer Specialist's primary responsibilities include the ability to use a hand grinder, able to use magnifying glass and microscope to perform burring operation, able to read blue prints, able to use measuring devices such as calipers, depth gauges, dial indicators etc. Able to use hand tools to perform burring operations, familiar with Oracle is a plus, able to use degreaser and sand blasting experience is a plus.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Setups and operates centerless and side grinders, and vision inspection systems.
Performs visual and dimensional inspection at the grinding operation and utilizes any other measuring equipment as needed.
Reads routers, and production schedules for product specifications such as dimensions, tolerance, and number of parts to be processed and when.
Read special instructions as required. Records information for inspection and production using various forms, logs and computer systems.
Monitors product for product specifications using but not limited to the following types of inspection equipment, air gages, refractometer, micrometer, surface finish testers, digital indicators, scales, and visual aids.
Verifies equipment including but not limited to proper settings, feeds and speeds, temperatures, cycle times, pressure settings, air settings, switches, valve adjustments, feeds and speeds are in conformance to specification by using established standards.
Utilizes statistical data to determine conforming product. Analyzes and monitors scrap and nonconforming parts to aid in determining cause of failure.
Ability to start, shut down, setup and operate centerless and side grinders, vibro,cob dryers and inspection equipment.
Operates overhead hoists, and hand jacks. Loads and unloads various types of containers, which in include but are not limited to pans, bins, baskets and trays. Ability to drive forklifts and achieves certification to drive forklift.
Changes worn grinding wheels, mounts wheel on spindle, adjust blade height and angles as required, and dresses grinding wheels to specification.
Ability to read, interpret, and follow all safety rules and regulation while perform operations.
Troubleshoots and performs appropriate maintenance of the equipment by observation and general cleaning.
Over time is required as posted weekly, and may be mandated for this position.
Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Brad Foote Gearing, a division of Broadwind Energy, is seeking a Cell Operator to join our team in Cicero, IL. This is a second shift position, with overtime as necessary. The Cell Operator will run operation in each machine.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Install piece part into machines
Check run out in machines

Follow the bar-coding procedures per SOP
Operate a Youji 2000 and Hofler 1600B or equivalent plus ancillary equipment
Inform supervisor or a lead person for assisted setups, which operation may require indication and alignment

Work from blueprints, sketches, route sheets and verbal orders

Job Description: A Roll Grinder performs the following job duties:
Grind large mill rolls to specified shapes and finishes.
Select, balance and install grinding wheels.

Read and interpret blue prints and sketches.
Adjust, lubricate and maintain roll grinding machines.
Perform mechanical repair of roll grinding machines and shop equipment.
Enter roll grinding information into a computerized roll management system.
Inspect and repair roll neck bearings and chocks.
Assemble and disassemble large rolls, chocks and bearings.
Operate overhead crane from cab, pendant and radio control.

The Specialty Films site in North America is seeking a Regrind Operator Trainee to support the production of its polyurethane and polycarbonate films. This position is responsible for grinding products in order to help ensure the entire operation is producing quality thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and polycarbonate (PC) film & sheet.
Operate batch and continuous re-processors to physically produce quality regrind materials from scrap film in a timely manner.
Document scrap/regrind inventory in order to ensure the entire Production & Materials Management Departments have the most up-to-date information about regrind levels.
Produce quality materials that will be distributed to a vast array of customers.
Complete orders in an accurate manner to help certify high customer satisfaction levels.
Maintain production volume and efficiency through this physically demanding process.
Perform other reclaim operations (such as peel back of aliphatic film to remove interleaf, cut scrap rolls of film on guillotine) before film can be reprocessed.
Assist with cleaning of hoppers, blenders and metering systems, cutting over rolls, using a hoist to remove rolls from the winder, packaging onto skids and wrapping skids for storage into inventory.
Assist Production Line Operators with ancillary functions when grinding is not required.
Must be willing to work shifts

Production Cell Trainee / Full-Time / 2Nd Shift Weekends / Sat, Sun & Mon / 5:00 PM - 5:00 Am / 20% Shift Premium (1435-614)
Position will require the set-up and operation of multiple Blohm Surface Grinders and EDM and / or Profile Grinding machines. Grinding of high speed steel and carbide will be necessary. Ability to do own inspection using Jo block, calipers, micrometers, indicators, sine bars, and other inspection devices as needed.
Weekend shift employees work 36 hours and are paid for 40 hours with full Company benefits. This shift includes a 20% shift premium.
Please note: Training will take place on 1st shift / Tuesday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Individual should be self-motivated, dependable, able to communicate effectively, and able to work in a team as well as individually.
Able to hold tolerances.
Detail and accuracy oriented.

The Mechanic repairs, rebuilds, or overhauls major assemblies of internal combustion automobiles, buses, trucks or tractors.
