Performs technical planning, cost and risk analyses, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for subsystems and system elements

Develops and evaluates systems, networks and information systems to ensure designs meet applicable governmental security specifications

Background Support the Fires Center of Excellence (FCoE), 30th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, Fort Sill, OK with training/instruction for Soldiers, Officers and Warrant Officers. Types of spectrum of training include classroom, hands-on, simulation/virtual, field environment and exercises, combat scenario driven, and live fire in a realistic and safe environment. Job Duties Duties will include: A 14E Patriot Fire Control Enhanced Operator /Maintainer Course Instructor will instruct on the technical aspects of the equipment and facilities required to conduct 14E Patriot Fire Control Enhanced Operator/Maintainer training, to include the task lists for the operation and maintenance of MOS specific equipment. 14E Instructors will evaluate students’ duty performance and certify their competence of the skills instructed within the course utilizing prescribed evaluation methods and performing analysis of training effectiveness. 14E Instructors also will review and recommend acceptance or revisions of a variety of publications pertaining to 14E Patriot Fire Control Enhanced Operator/Maintainer Training.

Writes clear and concise bug reports, verify bug fixes (validation/verification) * Gathers feedback for and implement continuous test improvement
Maintains and develops testing policies and processes for test automation
Defines test strategies including functional, non-functional, regression, automation, security, and performance testing
Works with development teams to improve overall processes and push quality upstream
Experience with Microsoft Office products
Good organizational and communication skills
Experience with U.S. Navy submarine combat control system end user operation required.
Candidates must demonstrate passion for innovation and a sophisticated understanding of various engineering systems.

Field Artillery Fire Control Consultant (New Jersey)
Position: Field Artillery Fire Control Consultant
Job Function: Systems Engineer
Analyze and rationalize Field Artillery digital fire control system requirements for the M109A6 Paladin and M109A7 Paladin PIM Howitzers. Support requirement definition and integration testing through the use of formal specifications and DOORS requirement management tools. Review existing digital fire control software programs and assists in making upgrades and refinements. Prepare documentation and make formal presentations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Domain knowledge and experience in Field Artillery operations and activities.
· Technical knowledge in digital fire control systems.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to succeed in a team environment composed of a diverse team of Engineers, Computer Scientists, Systems Integrators and Active Duty Soldiers.
· Ability to interface with the Fires Center of Excellence in Fort Sill, Oklahoma
Experience and Education:
· Bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or related field) from an accredited college and five years of experience. With ten years of relevant experience a degree is not required.
· Former/Current Service Member with a Field Artillery Related Military Occupational Specialty
· Must possess or be able to possess a SECRET clearance
