Mitigation And Demolition Technician
Duties entail water extraction, drying, mold remediation, bio-hazard clean-up and demolition in residential and commercial structures damaged by fire, water, mold, bio-hazard or storm damage. Construction experience is a plus. Must be able to lift 75 – 100 lbs routinely, not be afraid to get dirty and have the ability the work standing for long periods of time. Good computer and iPhone skills required. Xactimate or DASH experience preferred, but not necessary. The ideal candidate will have a background in water and/or fire damage mitigation but we will train the right candidate.

We are currently in search of a skilled construction worker with some demolition experience. Position is full time. Tasks may vary: day-to-day operations may consist of participating in demolition project, participating in shop work /equipment repairs, etc. Jobs range from interior demolition, concrete work, etc. Construction environment type may vary. Some traveling will be required. Experience operating equipment is highly recommended: forklifts, boom lifts, mini back loaders, bobcats, etc.

This position controls the admittance of vehicles and traffic flow for multiple scales and traffic lanes and the materials disposed of and/or recycled in Solid Waste designated facilities for the general public.
This is a benefit eligible part-time position, 30 hours weekly.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains weight and records of vehicles and collects and accounts for cash at the facilities.
Operates computerized scale, determines the material and the amount to charge customers based on the load size and weight, disburses tickets/receipts, maintains records for cash reconciliation.
Screens incoming visitors and suppliers, records information, verifies appointments and directs visitors to appropriate facility locations.
Requires any combination of education and/or experience equivalent to graduation from high school or GED and six months or more of verifiable cash handling experience in high volume, fast paced, and high stress environments such as convenience stores, banks, casinos, and/or restaurants within the last six years to include handling a minimum of 75 cash transactions and making change within a 8-hour shift.
Possession of a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Knowledge of solid waste materials classifications including horticultural, recyclables, construction and demolition debris and special waste.

(Saturday hours are 6:15 am to 12:15 pm). There will be the occasional opportunity to work additional varying and flexible hours and days.
