Current Washington State Dentist License
Dental Degree required (DDS or DMD); from an American Dental Association accredited dental school
Skilled in restorative, surgical extractions, endodontics, and pediatric

Experience working with technology and electronic dental records

Summary In order to ensure quality healthcare dental services, the Dentist provides general dental services to patients. The Dentist position is under the general direction and supervision of the Dental Director.
Responsibilities - Treat patients general dentistry problems. - Evaluates x-rays and charts for accurate patient dental information. - Arranges referrals and consultations to patients as needed. - Develops treatment plan for patients. - Indirectly supervises dental residency students and volunteers for the dental clinics - Utilizes EMR medical charts to forecast potential problems with patients in relation to oral health. - Reviews lab cases with lab technician to determine follow up treatment for patients. - Collaborates with Dental Practice Manager and dental staff to order and maintain dental supplies. - Enters patient health data into the electronic medical records system (EMR) database. Supervisory Duties: - None, provides general clinical leadership to Dental support staff Experience & Education Qualifications - Doctorate degree in Dentistry. - Licensed to practice dentistry in the state of Colorado. - Graduation from an accredited dental school. - Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred. - Successful completion of dental residency is required. - Previous experience working in a community healthcare dental clinic is preferred. - DEA License and CPR certification is preferred. - Previous experience working in a community healthcare dental clinic is preferred. - Previous experience of working with Electronic Dental Record program required. - GPR or +2 years of dental experience preferred.
