Maintain accurate records, including inventory of Die Blanks against finished Dies and ensure inventory of all hubs is current and accurate.

Inspecting, repairing and polishing dies requires prolonged sitting and muscular activity of hands and arms. In addition, quenching dies in heat treat requires protective clothing as dies are heated up to 1500 degrees F. Boxes of dies and par stock weigh up to 50 lbs. Proper lifting techniques must be adhered to at all times. Alertness and mental concentration is required because of the nature of the muscular and visual coordination needed to prevent damage to dies. Good eye hand coordination is required for forklift operation.
