Helps to plan and control lube and preventative maintenance jobs.

Ensures trucks are topped with oil and emptied of waste oil at the end of each shift.

Performs lube services strictly by the CAT Lube and Maintenance Guides covering each machine.
Follows proper warm up and sample drop procedures.
Maintains company equipment – keeps in good clean orderly condition. Reports repair or replacements needs to supervisor.
Work safely at all times. Adhere to all applicable safety policies. Comply with all company policies, procedures and standards.
Keeps pertinent in-house personnel informed about date of service, discrepancies found, general machine condition and suggested action required.
Gathers information from a walk around inspection and reports to customer/management.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Provides field training and consultation on specific products• Facilitates demonstrations on equipment, ensuring adequate support and set-up• Analyzes rock excavation techniques to supplement and/or eliminate the need for drilling and blasting • Promotes and reinforces Vermeer Texas-Louisiana’s image as a total solutions provider • Demonstrates skills in data analysis by making suggestions to resolve customer issues, at times researching complex data• Works independently but may partner with sales, parts, and service subject matter experts on unusual and complex problems or issues• May provide general guidance and direction to, or mentor/train new product specialists• May sell service programs to assigned customers, promote and sell machine maintenance programs, machine repair programs, inspection and appraisal programs, and oil sampling programs• Completes all reporting requirements as per company guidelines and meets all compliance requirements• May assist in development of documents and sales aids required to achieve company objectives • Will need CDL and follow DOT regulations• Represents Vermeer Texas-Louisiana at factory, industry and company events, including meetings and training• Follows all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adheres to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook • Performs all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner
The individual in this position should be personable, highly motivated, a problem solver, reliable, ethical, intelligent and able to adapt to all of the forces around them - customers, suppliers, department employees, co-workers and manufacturers employees. It is extremely important that this individual have strong knowledge of Environmental Industries (Forestry Mulchers/Mulching, Organic Recycling, Biomass, and Wood Waste Processing Industries), as well as the Surface Mining Industry, selling skills, and interpersonal communications skills.Desired Skills and Experience:• High school diploma, GED or vocational training/certification• College degree and/or equivalent experience in Mining, Road Construction, Surface Excavating, Soil Remediation or sales preferred• Must have strong interpersonal, marketing and selling skills, be highly motivated, a problem solver, reliable and ethical.• Communicates professionally, respectfully and honestly at all times and communication is to be clear and language is to be profanity free, while employee demeanor is to be calm and composed. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs., stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear. • May be required to climb, balance and sit for an undetermined period of time • May be exposed to extreme weather elements, including wet and/or humid conditions, extreme cold and extreme heat, moving mechanical parts and equipment, and noise level in working environment can be moderate to high• Background check and pre-employment drug testing required• Personal appearance must be neat and clean• Certain positions require a valid driver's license and ability to meet requirements of the Company Driver Policy; Vermeer Texas-Louisiana will review motor vehicle records annually for all employees for whom driving a motor vehicle is an essential job function or when employees must obtain and drive rental vehicles during the course of conducting company business

This individual will focus on promoting HYTORC’s Industrial Bolting Solutions. The ideal candidate will work independently with a network of his or her own industry contacts and our company management, to identify potential clients and schedule meetings that will ultimately lead to sales of our industrial bolting technology. Candidate will also work as a liaison between our current sales representatives and these customers to leverage existing relationships with mining customers. HYTORC has the only bolting products that can truly optimize bolting safety, quality and schedule. The ideal candidate will know how to spread the awareness amongst the decision makers within OEM's and contractors in order to get our product’s specified. Experience with Caterpillar, Komatsu, Liebherr, P & H Minepro and other large mining companies is ideal.
· Candidate must possess hands-on mechanical aptitude, and exceptional social skills.
· Must have prior experience and numerous industry contacts.
· Must be comfortable with public speaking and delivering presentations to managers and engineers using multi-media.
· Must also have the ability to inspire confidence and build rapport with craftsmen while giving live demonstrations of our equipment at the client's site.
