Optics Post-Fab And Assemblies Technician
This position is a member of the Optics Post Fab & Assembly Engineering Team, supporting the effort to manufacture optical components used for the Moxtek product line. The Engineering Technician will be required to work directly with Process Engineers to sustain manufacturing operations, and will perform glass part cutting, inspection, optical performance measurement, packaging, and shipping.
Support Post Fab Production with day-to-day issues, troubleshooting and sustaining needs.
Aid in the design, development and testing of new assemblies.
Write and maintain Post Fab operating procedures and related documents.
Ensure that Post Fab production understands customer requirements for standard and non-standard orders.
Interface between Engineering and Production to verify orders are completed accurately.
Design, carry out and document experiments per Moxtek standards.
Determine best practices for assembly procedures and provide feedback to engineering for improvements.
Write clear and informative project status passdowns.
Aid with implementation and maintenance of Statistical Process Control (SPC).

What You'll Do:
Develop, evaluate, select and document materials and processes to meet the engineering design requirements of various radio frequency circuit assemblies for use in a wide variety of environments (aerospace, military, commercial) from demonstration of concept articles through rigorous flight qualified hardware.
Define, plan, and implement materials and process investigations and analyses.
Consult with and assist Ball Aerospace and customer organizations (e.g. engineering, production, integration and test, etc.) on use of such materials and processes.
