Maintains pre-treatment equipment, spray booths, ovens and manual powder gun applicators.
Observes machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects or deviations from standards, and make adjustments as necessary.

Inspects parts for quality and informs supervisor of any problems.
Responsible for proper paint application per production specifications.

As a Powder Line Technician, you will be responsible for the following:
Loading and unloading parts on and off the powder coating line.

We are seeking an Industrial Powder Coater to work 2nd shift for a company that manufactures lighting fixtures in Aurora, CO. The Industrial Powder Coating is responsible for all aspects of the paint and powder coating process, beginning with the detailed preparation that goes into our finished and culminating in the final finish coats.
- Clean and prepare all fixtures prior to placing into finishes.
- Apply powder or wet coat finishes.
- Operate oven for final finishes.
- Maintain equipment and perform housekeeping duties as necessary using the principles of 5S.
- High School education or equivalent (i.e., diploma or GED) from an accredited institution required.
- Experience as a powder coating technician - knowledgeable about powder coating ovens and wash systems.
- Able to rapidly prep and paint parts with a very high attention to detail.
