Determine correct components to be used during the pressing process against written work instructions and engineering data sheets.
Transfer cases from pallet to dolly and charges from press area to the test area.
Transfer explosive powder bins from refill area to work area.
Operate press lever and slide dies on press table.
Conduct visual in-process inspection on manufactured components.
Utilize tools to cut bands on pallets and scoop mixing powders.
Load components with explosive powders.
Weigh explosive load to be pressed and placed into components.
Complete necessary production and quality control paperwork at the end of each shift.
Maintain clean work area.
Assemble components according to written instructions.
Conduct visual process inspection on components being assembled.
Report problems to shift supervisor.
Pack completed products according to work instructions.
Willingness and ability to follow instructions.
Work overtime when necessary.
Work on a team.
Transport, stack and paint liners.
Wear 100% cotton clothing (detonators only)

The primary responsibility of this role is toperform preventative maintenance on Stamping / Die mechanical equipment inaccordance with standards.
Reporting to the Stamping / Die Manufacturing Supervisor,the person in this role will support Toyota Motor's Manufacturing Kentucky(TMMK), Toyota's largest North America manufacturing operation. The facilityproduces over 500,000 vehicles annually. Production includes assembly of the
Camry, Camry Hybrid, Avalon, and Lexus ES350. TMMK also builds 4-cylinder andV6 engines and powertrain parts.
What you'll be doing
Perform welding, grinding, operate cranes, machining, & fabrication.
Perform machining, finishing, assembly and tuning of dies.
Support in line tryouts or line calls of dies.
Carry out emergency repairs if any issues arise.
Perform die modifications for surface quality and accuracy.
Work in a team setting.
Occasionally travel to support off site activities at NAMC's and Toyota affiliates.
Log daily book entries to communicate activities, issues and progress of die work.
What you bring
Experience building and/or maintaining high volume stamping dies, welding ability, spotting ability and hand finishing skills.
Knowledge of cutting and forming sheet metal stamping operation
Experience in industrial maintenance
Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge

Die Repair - Tool & Die 2Nd And 3Rd Shift

Set up the operator's work stations in accordance with the company standard.

Plan, layout and perform required bench and machine operations to construct, alter and repair intricately designed and constructed tools, dies, fixtures, cavity mold dies, gauges where a high degree of skill and extensive knowledge of plastic mold tooling practice and metal tooling practice application is required. Work from complicated drawings, specifications or concepts. Use a wide variety of precision instruments for exacting measurements.
Lay out work and plan machining and bench procedures. Perform difficult machining operations requiring complicated setups which may involve improvising of tooling and machines for adaptations beyond the normal range in capacities of available equipment. Sets up and operates a variety of CNC mills, CNC EDM's and related CAD equipment machine tools to perform precision machining operations.
Perform critical bench and assembly operations to fit, align, calibrate, adjust, assemble and finish work. Assume responsibility for quality workmanship and dimensional accuracy of assigned work. May include responsibility for training an apprentice Tool and Die Maker or other tool room personnel on a project basis.
Will also operate related CAD/CAM equipment. Analyzes molded parts to determine tool repair and adjustments required with minimum supervision. Responsible for observing safe work habits and cleanliness of work area.

Stamping Die Design Engineer
Position Core Role:
Designing automotive related sheet metal stamping dies for transfer type presses.
Essential Function and
Designs automotive transfer dies in CATIA v5 or later.
Coordinates and implements a die design schedule with daily tracking of progress.
Investigates and troubleshoots die related problems during the manufacturing and installation process.
Participates in analysis and feedback of die design improvements based on previous project results.
Confirms die process layout for product based tooling sets.
Implements customer requests into assigned die designs.
Correlates previous design content and results into new assigned die designs.
Completes check process (checklists, etc.) for die designs.
Explains assigned die designs at expert design reviews and implements related revisions.
Completes die design related paperwork (part purchase orders, tracking sheets, release documents, etc.).

Die Cast Set Up
Set up and operate die cast machines (Conventional, Techmire and Dyna Tech) to produce die cast parts according to specifications on assigned machines.
Adjusts or crrects existing, change, or alter tools to maintain quality of work, make repairs in accordance with specifications.
Troubleshoots and make corrective adjustments as required.
Qualified candidates must be able to read prints, calculate measurements and successfully complete and pass the set up operator test which measures these skills and qualifications.
