This is an hourly full time Monday thru Friday position with overtime available.
Coordinate with and consult other workers to design, lay out, or detail components and systems and to resolve design or other problems.
Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems.
Lay out and draw schematic, orthographic, or angle views to depict functional relationships of components, assemblies, systems, and machines.
Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, dies, tools, and controls, using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment.
Position instructions and comments onto drawings.
Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed.
Check dimensions of materials to be used and assign numbers to the materials.
Compute mathematical formulas to develop and design detailed specifications for components or machinery, using computer-assisted equipment.
Lay out, draw, and reproduce illustrations for reference manuals and technical publications to describe operation and maintenance of mechanical systems if needed.
Design scale or full-size blueprints of specialty items such as marine, engine and transmission components.
Confer with customer representatives to review schematics and answer questions pertaining to installation of systems.
Train other drafters, technologists, and technicians.
Documenting/ Recording information – Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form
What you bring to our winning team:
5 years experience in the development and construction of medium to large die cast dies.
The die cast designer will be proficient in Pro – E Creo or another design-based software.
Ability to use Team Center would be helpful but not necessary.
Strong analytical skills, ability to work in a team environment and communicate with peers and management.
Ability to generate parting lines, mold splits and slide pulls using part models supplied from internal and external customers.
Proficient with Microsoft products to include, outlook, word, power point, and excel.

Remove and install molds in plastic injection molding machines.
Set up machines for continuous production by positioning and aligning mold, connecting water, hydraulics, and air feeds as required.
Adjust machine control settings to prescribed setup for the part.
Shut down molding machines by performing proper lockout procedures, purging material, removing die from machine, etc.

Eaton's Electrical Circuit Protection Division is currently seeking a Die Setter to join our team. This position is based at our Ellisville, MO facility.
The Die Setter supports Press Room production by setting and running presses to produce quality parts. Core hours for this position are on third shift.

You will maintain press room support equipment such as feeds, reels, straighteners, oilers.
