Mail Courier / Mail Clerk
We have several opportunities available in the Landover, MD and NW, DC area for Mail Courier/Drivers and Mail Clerks to provide support services including opening, logging, sorting, screening, tracking and distributing incoming mail, delivery and pick up of mail and/or property, copying, reproduction and related services, and some administrative services.
Please note: This position will require successful attainment of a Government Security Clearance if you don’t currently hold an active clearance. Therefore, an extensive background check will be required prior to hire which will include a Criminal Background screening and a Credit Check.
Essential Courier Driver duties:
- Perform various pick-ups and deliveries among twenty-eight (28) buildings on multiple campuses within a sixty (60) mile radius of the main contract location.
- Retrieval and delivery of mail as well as the loading and unloading of the vehicle.
- Courier Drivers will be issued wireless scanners to record date, time and signature confirmation of delivery to the recipient or the recipient’s authorized agent.
- Must maintain a daily log (manifest) of all mail pieces received and delivered at each location.
- A minimum of one year or prior driver/delivery experience required
- Must have a current Driver’s License and a clean driving record
Essential Mailroom Clerk duties:
This position calls for a high attention to detail which allows for a 100% accuracy rating of inbound and outbound mail processing
- Opening, logging, sorting, screening, tracking, routing, and distributing incoming mail.
- Copying, reproduction and related services.
- Previous mail room experience is a must
- Previous experience with accountable mail and automated systems is preferred
- Some administrative services as needed.

Drive development of monthly campaign in terms of total mail volume, volume distribution by segments and states, and creative testing strategy.
Ensure that campaign dates are well communicated and coordinate with risk and compliance teams to ensure that campaigns are executed flawlessly and on time.
Ensure conformance of creatives with product characteristics (loan amounts, pricing etc.) and compliance requirements.
Monitor campaigns to ensure accuracy and delivery requirements (especially on pre-screened) campaigns.
Manage campaign spend (lists, print and postage) to meet budgetary targets.
Manage relationship with print shops and create opportunities for price reduction as well as efficient execution of campaigns.
Build and maintain a network of creative agencies for creative development and design variants. Build champion/challenger tests to maximize response to campaigns.
Understand performance of campaigns and work with risk team to understand and improve campaign metrics.
5-7 years of direct mail experience
MUST HAVE financial services bacground
Strong interpersonal skills to build relationship with internal teams, data processor and printers to enable smooth execution of campaigns.
Deep experience in developing hypothesis for creative development, creative briefs and working with agencies to create compliant and effective marketing collateral.
Outstanding communication skills to enable communication of direct mail performance and initiative to internal stakeholders.
Immaculate attention to detail to ensure all aspects of the campaign are executed per plan and on schedule.
Demonstrated ability to develop a direct mail strategy and execute to deliver on the strategy.
