The Landing System division of UTC Aerospace has an opportunity for a Disassembler II on the 2nd shift. The selected individual will disassemble landing gear into major and minor components for processing.
Remove bushings from components using hydraulic equipment and special tools as required. Clean parts by steam and/or solvent cleaning in accordance with overhaul manual and GR specifications. Remove finishes from components using plastic bead blasting. This position will may required training on 1st shift.
This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA's regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.
Disassembler I - Temp
Disassemblers are responsible for taking apart various types of landing gears and components in accordance with AAR and OHM requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Must have basic tools. Handling of non-toxic and toxic chemicals and/or substances.
Must be willing to work overtime to meet deadlines.
Disassemble connectors, conduits in order to make sure they are able to be overhauled.
Disassembler Levels: Level I - no previous landing gear experience. Shadows a Disassembler III for a few weeks to learn disassembling the different gears and in order to become familiar with the different components.
Level II - 1-2 years of disassembling experience. Should be able to disassemble most gears with little or no supervision. Read and comprehend MTFs and assembly procedures.
Level III - 2-3 years of experience in disassembling landing gears. Be able to disassemble gears with no supervision.
Perform all tasks in the disassembly procedures. Familiar with all different type of landing gears. Train and assist new hires.
NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES Have working knowledge of technical specifications in order to meet Quality Control requirements as stated in the AAR Quality Procedures Manual (QPM), Component Maintenance Manual (CMM), Overhaul Manual (OHM), Service Bulletins (SB), and Airworthiness Directives (AD) specifications and/or customer requirements. All other duties as assigned.

ATN GMP Disassembly
BAE Systems Combat Vehicles has openings for Disassembly to support our Anniston VUOC Site. These positions are Union Represented.
Purpose of PositionRemove component parts from input vehicles.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Assesses vehicle status, noting parts that are missing or are obviously going to be scrapped and completes paperwork noting the same.
Performs necessary disassembly using work instructions and good standard shop practices.
Calls attention to any special or unusual circumstances found in the vehicle.
Performs tasks using both text and photographic work instructions. Inspects work using precision measuring equipment and visual inspection when necessary.
Performs further disassembly of subassemblies as required.
Performs material handling and moving functions, such as the cleaning and inspection of equipment, normal housekeeping duties and care of hand tools and gages.
Must accurately charge labor to the appropriate manufacturing work order for the work being performed.
Labor Pool - Harvest And Disassembly - External
This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Must be able to efficiently learn and operate all machinery and equipment on the line while also being able to adhere to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies. Set up area with all needed equipment.
Perform minor maintenance on equipment. Monitor production area for trash and food debris on floor. Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead Person, Supervisor or Superintendent.
All other duties as assigned. Must be able to lift carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work on and around machinery and chemicals.
Must clean up area at end of production shift, including but not limited to sweeping, picking up debris from the floor, and spraying work areas. Must be able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting. Must be able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours.

Automotive Transmission Assembly / Disassembly Technician
Final Transmission preparation and assembly before inspection and testing by performing the following duties
Essential Job Duties:
Study, read and understand the schematic diagrams, blueprints, product manuals and process documents
Perform complex and advanced assembly of transmissions according to established specifications and instructions
Perform precision calibration and advanced adjustments using testing instruments with instructions
Follow assembly and test procedures to promote production of quality products
Monitor the functioning of all equipment and report any problems or substandard conditions to the supervisor
Ensure all records are maintained according to standard operating procedures
Perform equipment assembly according to engineering drawings and instruction
Perform cleaning of all parts as per established cleaning procedures
Perform pre-assembly activities such as cleaning and lubricating
Conduct product testing and performance testing and record the results
Perform final checks and adjustments for any defect to ensure high quality products
Perform installation, repair, inspection, reassembly, replacing, refitting and adjusting products as required
Receive, unload, unpack and transfer materials to different work stations
Develop an understanding of equipment and preventive maintenance procedures to avoid any breakdowns and failures and to feed improvement suggestions to Management
Operate powered lifting and mobile devices such as Fork Lift Truck and Powered Pallet with training and license

Stand for extended periods of time. Should be able to tolerate high and low temperature levels. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud.

Principal Position Activities
