Train other teammates on Ship Confirmation Process.
Check inventory, and perform replenishments and adjustments.
Assist with dispatching drivers, and helping on the short-desk.
Provide reports/spreadsheets to Operation Managers.
Works closely with other departments.
Prepare ship Confirm form on all orders, input expiration dates on packing lists, and generate shipping documents.
Enter accurate and timely order information.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
A teammate in this position must:
Have minimum one year of customer service experience with excellent telephone communication skills.
Have knowledge of shipping and transportation procedures.
Have experience on AS 400 Mainframe, Excel, Microsoft Word, and Access programs; or similar programs.

The Ship Safety Watch will be responsible to:
Verify integrity of hull openings, i.e. hull valves shut and red tagged.
Check oxygen (O2) levels throughout the ship to verify proper occupancy levels.
Act as the ship's Fire Warden.
Routinely check bilge levels and other relevant parameters, as assigned.
Perform hourly tours of the ship in the manner directed.
Ride the ship during ship movements until re-secured pierside.
In addition, this position will be performed within the Machinist Installation department. Other responsibilities will include using a wide variety of tools and machinery. The tools range from wrenches and screwdrivers to complex and
sophisticated equipment such as saws, drill presses, optical equipment, mills, portable machines, boring equipment, precision grinders, instruments and lathes.
The candidate MUST have five (5) years experience testing and conducting watch standing operations on SUBMARINE ship systems, or have equivalent experience on submarines, carrier nuclear/propulsion, or A-gang experience. The selected candidate must have knowledge of hydraulics, high air pressure, low air pressure, and Naval propulsion plant systems.

System Administrator for U.S. Navy F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) hardware and software onboard the amphibious assault ship USS America. This is a shiprider position and as such the successful candidate will deploy with the ship routinely. The ship is homeported in San Diego, CA but the successful candidate can reside either in the San Diego, CA or NAS Lemoore, CA area. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to see and experience the F-35 at sea in a civilian status.
An ALIS System Administrator is responsible for providing the overall on-site maintenance and support of the ALIS system to include hardware, software, and applications. They serve as the primary point of contact for any questions or concerns raised by users and will work in conjunction with other ALIS administrators to support the USMC Short Take Off and Landing (STOVL) version of JSF while they are onboard the ship.
Administrative responsibilities include updating systems and software consistent with the Patch Management Plan, performing backup and recovery, and monitoring system performance. Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space. Interacts with users and acts as Subject Matter Expert for use of product suite. Coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Monitors and reviews security audit logs.
