As the Distribution Supervisor, you will:
Manage resources to ensure customer orders are shipped on time and accurately.
Coach and facilitate business teams to meet customer and business requirements.
Establish priorities, coach individuals and teams, establish and monitor department operating budgets, disciplinary action, develop, report and maintain department measures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliance, safety processes, project initiation, continuous improvement initiatives, and equipment maintenance.
Drive successful obtainment of Distribution goals and metrics, analyze and trend monthly statistics associated with the distribution metrics and investigate/report all deviations to Associates.
Communicate issues and strategies to Operating Companies and Distribution management, support marketing initiatives and new product launches for the Pharmaceutical Sector.
Form and participate on cross-functional teams that encompass various departments and multi-level members, as well as partner with organizations outside JOM Pharmaceutical Services. Lead the group to identify and meet Distribution Goals.
Manage department budgets, ensure equipment maintenance plans are completed, enthusiastically examine and respond to customer needs, and take ownership for overall customer happiness.
Represent Johnson & Johnson United States Pharmaceutical Sector during customer visits and trade shows (e.g. Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals).

Job Description Summary We are currently seeking a Distribution Supervisor to support our daily operations in a Manufacturing and Distribution environment. Primary Role
Ensure each day’s receipts are accurately processed in a timely manner.

The Distribution Supervisor works under the direction of the Distribution Manager and oversees the daily distribution operation in his/her area. He/She works closely with District Managers to maintain an effective independent contractor delivery force to distribute all products either produced or distributed by the company while meeting the department's delivery and financial objectives.
Manages staff to meet company objectives and performance standards.
Responsible for interviewing and hiring qualified applicants.
Oversee the training of new employees.
Regularly reviews co-worker performance.
Plans, evaluates and executes all department initiatives and goals.
Operates within guidelines of the department's expense budget.
Recognizes and promotes opportunities to reduce costs, increase additional product distribution and improve publication market share.
Meet or exceed department home delivery service objectives.
Meet or exceed department single copy sales, returns and collection objectives.
Plans and executes special projects as assigned.
Manages the verification process for single copy returns.
High School diploma or GED or 3 to 5 years of experience.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to mediate and resolve disputes.
Good understanding of basic mathematical skill including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division in all units in order to compute rates, ratios and percent to draw.
Ability to perform a wide variety of physical activities.
Fundamental proficiency with computers and technology.
Effective leadership qualities/skills.
Ability to plan effectively, including scheduling and budgeting.
A good driving record and a valid Florida Drivers' license are required. Work schedule must be extremely flexible. Approximate starting time is 1:00am until mid/early morning, often working weekends and holidays.
