Lafortune Student Center Building Assistant (Temporary)
- Responsible for operating the LaFortune
Information Desk and Box Office, which includes cash handling and reconciliation, management of Information Desk merchandise and inventory, selling student organization tickets, providing customer service, distributing Student Shop orders for pick up.
Held accountable for reconciling cash drawers before and after each shift.
Acts as a customer service representative for LaFortune Student Center, assisting guests with their various needs, and directing phone calls appropriately.
Providing customer service that is second to none.
Managing the upkeep of the Information
Desk storefront by restocking and keeping inventory of merchandise. Informing the supervisor when things are running low.
Log in Lost & Found items through the LaFortune 411 system, notify individuals if possible.
Familiarity with the tenants in the building and their locations.
Responsible for collecting various items at the desk such as, USPS mail, campus mail, batteries for recycling, etc.
Utilize cash register system, credit card terminals, and domer dollar terminals to ring up customers.
Opening and Closing of SAO Facilities such as the LaFortune Student Center.
Position may require supportive roles/assignments within the Duncan Student Center.
