Dry End Operator
Position description
Correctly obtain all required supplies, labels, and packaging and apply per product specification.
Perform visual inspection of finished products.
Transport finished product to warehouse.
Communication between the Dry End Operators and the Delta Former Operator of production data produced on shift.
Maintain a properly cleaned area in and around the Winder, Wrapper and supply staging areas.
Responsible for relief duties of the Winder Operators.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum requirement of high school diploma or equivalent (GED). Prefer candidates who have obtained or currently pursuing manufacturing certification through a certified program. The incumbent must have basic operating knowledge and understanding of computer systems, as well as the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Must satisfactorily complete associated training programs and have a valid Lift Operator License while maintaining a safe driving record.

Dry Weight Scale Operator
This position is responsible for operating machinery and maintaining product flow while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Tasks
Team Member is responsible to pull loaded trees from the scale staging area to the scale and to the stick wash unit. Team member is responsible to record and document tree weights using the hand-held scanners.
All Team Members are to follow all Safety and Food Safety Procedures. Position will require standing, and walking for long periods of time. Ability to bend, twist, push, pull and reach above shoulders.
Ability to lift up occasionally up to 50 pounds. Must be able to grip, pinch and grasp. Able to pull loaded trees using rail system and ability to work in cold and damp environments.
Applicants must be able to work overtime when required. Responsible for other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Freeze Dry Operator I
ROLE SUMMARY
Injectable Freeze Dry Operators are responsible for the operation of Freeze Dryers of B-41's injectable drug product areas (Aseptic Processing North & South facilities). Work is performed in strict compliance with manufacturing standards (SOPs) and following all regulatory requirements (i.e., GMPs & OSHA). This job includes the following functions: aseptic gowning and personnel monitoring, processing of hazardous and non-hazardous drug products, computer skills, operating PLCs and SCADA systems, physical material handling (handling trays with product), assisting/preparing equipment for troubleshooting and completing GMP documentation. Colleagues are expected to share best practices with other colleagues on their shift, and across shifts.
In addition to Freeze Dry area, colleagues might be required to work in other areas, such as Injectable Filling, Inspection, or Packaging, as production demands require. Over-time and weekend work as production demands will be required.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Specific job functions include:
Load and unload trays of product into and from freeze dryers and deliver to filling lines
Input data into complex automated control systems on several types of freeze dryers & product transfer carts
Review freeze dry cycle charts or batch end reports and make GMP decisions on quality of run
Wash, sanitize and operate transfer cabinets and loaders
Understand general principles of lyophilization
Demonstrating ownership and accountability to production schedule and protecting product quality
Monitoring freeze dryers for efficient run time versus established standards
Ensuring adequate inventory of parts and materials prior to initiating a production run
Assisting maintenance in equipment troubleshooting
Performing total productive maintenance/operator care tasks

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:

JOB SUMMARY / GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This position is responsible for operating and using industrial, powered, computer-equipped standup forklifts to move materials throughout the Distribution Center and place product in designated areas.

Store and deliver all materials to the Production Lines in a safe and efficient manner.
Make cost effective decisions in a timely manner. This includes quality, safety, speed, and waste.
Have the computer skills and aptitude to operate various warehouse management systems (SAP and RF) spreadsheets, word-processing documents, etc.
Properly fill out all paperwork needed for operations.
Ensure that all packaging and raw materials are properly rotated on a First In First Out (FIFO) basis.
Verify Lot Control and FIFO is used for all floor deliveries and returns.
Ensure that partial pallets are delivered to the line first to prevent multiple partial pallets of the same resource.
Maintain good housekeeping in all Dry Warehouse storage, receiving, and tempering areas (includes ambient and frozen receiving docks, ambient, 40 degree and
- 20 warehouse locations, flammable rooms, tempering and hot box areas, all staging areas and pallet transfer areas) forklifts, work carts, stretch wrap machines, conveyors, dock and floors.
Keep rack locations safe and usable, restacking or uprighting any tipped pallets in racking. Always maintain safety requirements such as wearing fall protection harness and keep waste to a minimum
Collect, sort and organize pallets from Dry Warehouse. Good pallets should be saved for Palletizing and bad pallets should be placed on bad pallet trailer.
Monitor the availability and usage of plastic pallets to ensure that product is not setup on plastic pallets too far in advance. When return to stock product is received in the warehouse minimize the number of plastic pallets that are returned to the racks.
Safely transfer pallets from wood to plastic using the Pallet Transfer System and/or forklifts
Be certified on safe operation of all Material Handling Equipment.
Act with a sense of urgency to accomplish goals and tasks.
Know and understand department metrics of quality, reliability and safety.
You are responsible for your performance, efficiencies, waste, quality, safety, results.
Lead Pre-Shift meetings as necessary and conduct SHOs

Pack off finished product, perform checks on critical timing of equipment, prepare equipment half an hour to one hour prior to shift start.
Make product change-over, package size changes, minor and major repairs on all equipment,
Understand scheduling and can adequately perform in the absence of the crew leader
Be responsible for quality and quantity of production on a daily basis.
Document and record downtime and machine adjustments
Understand and practice loss control of raw and packaging materials
Assist in preventative maintenance duties with the assistance of the maintenance team
Follow detailed procedures and complete paperwork accurately to ensure safe, consistent, and quality product,
Work with teams to identify process issues and improvement opportunities by actively participating in continuous improvement activities
Actively promote safety and identify unsafe actions and conditions through the use of a principle-based safety approach.
Perform other duties as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Availability to work overtime daily and weekends.
Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of the use of proper tools.
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to perform accurate data entry.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently and repeatedly.
Experience following detailed procedures and completing accurate paperwork.
Flexibility to support / train across three shifts.
Experience adhering to and following company, plant, regulatory, and customer standards.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
One year experience working in a mechanical and/or manufacturing field.
Experience sanitizing food processing equipment.
High School diploma or equivalent.
