Mechanical Design Drafter Levels:
Apprentice Level: An individual designated as an entry level mechanical design drafter obtaining experience through formal educational training on the job training or other organized and systematic form of instruction. Journeyman Level: An individual who has documented sufficient skills and knowledge of the drafting occupation, either through formal internship or through practical on the job experience, and formal training. This individual is recognized as being specifically qualified to perform a full range of mechanical design drafting assignments and uses independent judgment in making decisions where alternatives are determined by established procedures, methods and practices.
Master Level: This is the advanced level and refers to an individual maintaining or recognized as a mentor or specialist. This individual can resolve either theoretical or technical
