POSITION BASIC PURPOSE
Create Product Layouts.Create and revise Documentation (including, but not limited to, Drawings, Models, Bills of Material, Routings, and Process Documentation).Write and monitor Engineering Change Requests/Orders.
Identify documentation adds, deletes, and changes per Engineering Change Requests.Coordinate and implement project work and changes to projects.
Create Product Layouts to include analysis of fit as required and/or directed.

Investigate, write, and coordinate ECOs.
Assist requisitions in clarifying their requests.
Train other Documentation Control Associates in all procedures related to the group.
Update and revise documentation as required.
Assist with packaging/labeling documentation
Help log in ECR's when required.
Ability to work well individually or as a team player.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, COMPETENCIES AND ABILITIES)
5+ years experience as a designer/drafter skilled in both 3D modeling and 2D drawings in Solidworks.
Must be a team player capable of multi-tasking discrete work assignments on multiple projects concurrently. Must have experience preparing complete product-documentation packages for manufacturing businesses. Must also have a solid understanding of PDM use in Engineering and Manufacturing functions.
Working knowledge of printed circuit board fabrication and assembly would be a plus.
Make layout drawings and develop designs from sketches, design specifications or other information provided.
Experienced AutoCad drafter responsible for drawing creation & modification working with senior drafters and the engineering team.
Drafting in support of printed circuit board package assembly drawings, cabinet drawings, and 3rd party product drawings.
Oracle data entry and drawing control is another essential function of this position.
Successful candidate would be very fluent with personal computers and industry standard software packages including Microsoft Office and Adobe. Various file conversion process techniques between software packages is also highly desired.
This position is not eligible for relocation. The starting salary for this position will be between $2,744-$3,019 per month.
High school graduate and an Associate Degree in Drafting / Electronics Technology, or closely related discipline, from an Electronics Technical School or its equivalent.
A minimum of four years in the Detail Drafter classifications or the equivalent. Additionally, a minimum of two years AutoCad experience is required.

Significant experience with physical layout of mixed signal VLSI CMOS transistor level designs is required. The selected candidate will perform silicon layout of analog and digital submicron
transistor level designs in support of advanced infrared cameras and imagers. Designs include ultralow noise analog circuit blocks, low power analog to

CAD Design Drafter I
Participate in multidiscipline project team, developing, maintaining and improving products. Generate basic mechanical and electro-mechanical models, drawings and notes with minimal direction.
