Job Duties & Responsibilities
Lead the identification of play concepts and generation of prospects utilizing available geophysical, geological, and petrophysical data for structural, stratigraphic, and quantitative interpretation.
Successfully work in a collaborative environment with land, engineering, geoscience subject-matter experts.
Advise and mentor team members on the integration of all available data to develop new play concepts and advance prospects to a drill-ready status.
Perform regional integrated structural and stratigraphic interpretations utilizing available data to generate regional velocity models for depth conversion of 2D and 3D seismic data.
Perform quantitative risk and resource analysis of plays and prospects based on integrated interpretations of geoscience data.
Lead efforts to develop or apply new technologies and techniques to meet the goals of the organization.
Represent the company at partner and government technical committee meetings.

Job Specific Skills
Proven experience and proficiency in core exploration geoscience competencies including regional petroleum systems-based basin evaluations and structural and stratigraphic seismic interpretation (2D/3D).

Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct research and geophysical technology development for industry scale applications
Lead the development of advanced seismic depth image using frontier techniques such as RTM and FWI; this includes all stages of development from conceptual level to a complete industrial solutions
