A Drafter responsible for completing productions drawings for civil planning and landscape architectural projects.
You will be taking civil grading plans as well as architectural landscape layout for residential and commercial projects and adding to AutoCAD.
Two years of drafting experience in civil or architecture
Additional Information/Preferred experience:
Prefer a civil background
Landscape architecture drawing experience
Most of the work is for existing layouts-adding and redoing them.
They use a software add on to AutoCAD for planting programs (actual plants you put in the ground) called Land FX. Client is willing to train you on this program.

The CAD & Design Assistant is responsible for performing a broad variety of drafting tasks as needed by the Facilities Management Division. Prepare documents and calculations for studies with project designs. Working independently and exercising good judgment and discretion is essential to this job
High school diploma and related college courses preferred. Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Must be detailed oriented, possess organizational skills and communications skills.Occasionally required to travel to local and campus locations.

The working environment in which one will typically perform the essential functions of this position is a climate-controlled office setting. It is well lighted and the noise level is moderate. 4.Prepare and maintain spreadsheets and word documents as needed.
5.Computer filing of documents.
6.Use GPS Pathfinder Office to aid in utility mapping.

EDUCATION AND ADDITIONALREQUIREMENTS:
Four(4) - six (6) years AutoCAD R14/2004 experience in the Civil and Architecturaldiscipline
