This position will support engineers in the review of design data that will comply with applicable military specifications, SAE, ANSI, ASME, and other related standards.
This position will be responsible for reviewing drawings for formatting errors and working with the engineering team to ensure a high level of quality in the design data.
This position will also be responsible for reviewing change documentation and its related incorporations for completeness and correctness.
This position will help develop a set of common Design Standards that meets our Customers and Program requirements.
This position will be expected, at times, to be involved with the drawing creation and subsequent Production review processes.
Must have 6+ years of experience of each of the following:
- Familiarity with SAE AS50881 and ANSI/ASME Y14.100 or related design and drafting standards
- CATIA V5 experience
- Familiarity with Change Documentation process and all related requirements to this process, Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
MUST have an Active Secret Clearance or to have had one within the last 2 years*
Teamcenter or similar PDM/PLM software tool
Experience working in an aerospace environment with exposure to or interface with DoD customers

Primary job responsibility will be to perform document checking functions for mechanical, electrical, cabling, and electronic packaging engineering drawings and specifications. The selected individual will be required to examine engineering drawings and related documents for soundness, efficiency, and simplicity in design; completeness, clarity, and dimensional accuracy; correctness of materials and processes; conformity to design/drafting standards, design specifications, and practicability; and economy of fabrication, assembly, and installation.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
Solid understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals including structures, mechanisms, materials and analysis
Minimum 5 years of design and/or manufacturing experience that included the use and interpretation of engineering design drawings
Familiar with mechanical hardware manufacturing processes
Computer Aided Design (CAD) modeling and drafting familiarity (Creo, I-deas, Solid Works, etc.)
Proficiency with ASME Y14.5M Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
Demonstrated ability to work in multidisciplinary product development teams

The role has four primary responsibilities:
Obtain permits Schedule and execute inspections Perform post-sales drawings (floor plans, conduit plans, etc.) Oversee Kastle Sub-contractor relations (this includes managing/tracking costs and pricing, negotiating fees, sourcing new subcontractors, etc.).

Communicate with sub-contractors on a regular basis to understand workload, obtain status of projects, and to ensure the sub-contractors are submitting inventory reports and sending invoices.

Reporting to the Chief Curator of Art Collections, the Curator of Prints, Drawings and Photographs will be a key member of the Center’s curatorial team and will participate actively in a wide range of curatorial activities in the Department, at the Center, and in collaboration with other institutions across the University, as well as in the wider world of art historical scholarship. Under the supervision of the Chief Curator, the Curator of Prints, Drawings and Photographs will oversee, steward, and develop the Yale Center for British Art’s collection of over 22,000 drawings, 40,000 prints and a growing collection of nearly 1,000 photographs, the most important collection British works on paper outside the United Kingdom.
She/he is responsible for the administration and organization of the Center’s Study Room and management of the department’s curatorial assistants who support that space. S/he is responsible for the interpretation, documentation and growth of the Center’s collection of Prints, Drawings and Photographs; will propose and execute temporary exhibitions as well as serve as in-house curator for traveling exhibitions from other institutions; will participate actively in the scholarly life of the Center by undertaking research and publication within the field of British art and may teach in the department of Art History; initiating research on acquisitions, loans, and on the permanent collection; fielding public inquiries; representing the department on Gallery and University committees. This position will report to the Engineering Manager, Tank Services and will prepare and check detailed drawings of tanks according to specifications provided by customer and industry standards. This position will be located in our Tulsa, Oklahoma office.

Experience in detailing and checking above ground storage tanks for the petroleum industry using API-650 and API-653 design codes.
Knowledge of ancillary equipment (i.e. ladders, platforms, and internals) is required. Knowledge of tank inspection, repair, alteration and reconstruction is preferred. Drafting experience with structural, piping and vessels is a requirement.
Will review specifications and work with mechanical designers to develop control drawings.
Will review fabrication drawings and equipment vendor reports as needed. Ability to read blueprints and schematics produced by AutoCAD
Detail and check small to large tank projects. Be able to take a project from start to finish. Can detail and check any size project with speed and accuracy.
Must be able to perform at a high level to maintain project schedules. Individual requires minimum checking and minimum supervision.
Work with Project Manager to produce high-quality designs for above ground tanks.
Be able to form working relationships with internal and external customers.
